Steve Jobs

Steve Jobs
Why did Steve Jobs Die?

Dr. McDougall offers some useful insights here about Steve Jobs's cancer in particular and cancer in general.

The overall consensus was, and still is, that Jobs acted selfishly, stupidly, and irresponsibly by being a vegan. But, he lived more than 30 years with cancer of the pancreas. (His medical treatments did little or nothing to prolong his life, and caused him great misery at huge expense.)

We might also consider the possibility that the cancer treatments Jobs undertook shortened his life. We might consider they did less than nothing since all "conventional" cancer treatments, radiation, surgery and chemotherapy, themselves, cause cancer. Encouraging Jobs to start eating animal products was not helpful.

Please don't start taking your family to Burger King and McDonald's.

Fruits and Vegetables

Dear Gladys,

You and I have had completely opposite experiences with the pharmaceutical industry.

On one hand, you were a pharmacist with your own business. On the other hand, the pharmaceutical industry tortured me for eight years, nearly killed me, and threw away 18 years of my life — with a laugh and a sneer. I am unusual. I have a new life. Most victims of the pharmaceutical industry are dead.

Despite that, I think there are many honest and conscientious pharmacists and doctors who care about their patients. My experience over the last ten years tells me that organized medicine in Canada is completely corrupt: Not one person who is responsible for protecting people in Canada was or is interested in what happened to me. Not even one. They all stand convicted by their actions and their inaction: doctors, pharmaceutical companies, lawyers, government regulators, legislators and the media.

People who survive what the Canadian "health care" system does to them are naturally grateful and believe their doctors are wonderful. I was one of them. I was thankful until I discovered in 2001 what had happened to me:
http://morleyevans2.com/Depraved/Depraved.html

No one in a responsible position cares to know about what happened. Few others, including my own family, care to know either. Kathy listened. Kathy knows what the doctors are like here in Regina. They killed Carl and nothing will ever be done about it. I specialize in looking at corrupt systems. I've never seen anything worse than what we have in Canada. Regina may be the worst place of all. Someday, decent doctors and pharmacists will stand up to be counted. Merck is the worst pharmaceutical company, followed closely by Pfizer. Johnson & Johnson is the best: they care about what they do.

Where are we? We Canadians are on the endangered species list. We have a very low birth rate. We live north of 40 where very little food we eat is grown. We get little or no sunshine. Doctors have always advised people to avoid Vitamins, especially Vitamin D. When we get sick, we go to a doctor who prescribes medicine to alleviate symptoms. When new symptoms appear, doctors prescribe something on top of what has already been prescribed. Most elderly people are taking five or six pills twice a day — or more, prescribed by one or more doctors. Elderly people are warehoused in homes where they are fed hospital food. The rest of us eat food that is canned, frozen or processed. Fresh food comes from California and Mexico in the summer and South Africa, Brazil, Chile, Japan and Australia in winter. Bananas come from Central America year-round. We live in a soup of man-made chemicals that didn't exist sixty years ago. We get next-to-no exercise and now they are selling motorized scooters for people who can no longer walk!

Our health-related problems — diabetes, cancer, arthritis and cardiovascular disease — are not the inevitable result of aging. They are the inevitable result of what we eat and don't eat, our sedentary lives, and chemicals that pollute our air and our food. Radiation is a problem and medical radiation is the greatest source. Mammograms cause breast cancer. Dentists are very careful with radiation. Doctors are completely ignorant.

What we do DOES NOT WORK. Forty years ago, President Nixon declared war on cancer and allocated billions for cancer research. Approximately, 250,000 Americans died then of cancer each year. After untold billions have been spent, approximately 500,000 Americans die of cancer each year now. Canada is the same or worse. The cancer industry is tremendously successful at raising money. It is an abysmal failure at everything else. The heart and stroke industry is exactly the same. Diabetes and obesity continue to rise. There is no cure. Arthritis afflicts most of the elderly. There is no cure.

Most complaints presented to doctors are misdiagnosed and maltreated. Family Doctors in Regina are the stupidest people I have met anywhere and I have been all over the world (where I didn't need a doctor, by the way). They are the gatekeepers for Medicare. Einstein said "The only thing worse than ignorance is arrogance." Doctors here have both problems. When you go to the doctor, you are playing Russian Roulette.

Death By Medicine: http://morleyevans.blogspot.com/2012/01/death-by-medicine.html
Canadians may claim things are not as bad in Canada. They can only say that because Canadians are better at covering their tracks than Americans and Canadians look the other way when they do see something: "Hear No Evil, See No Evil, Speak No Evil."

Medicine in Canada IS THE NUMBER ONE EXPENSE, costing more than everything else combined. It is projected that "healthcare" will consume 80% of the Ontario budget in a few years. Saskatchewan and its government are owned by the doctors and the "healthcare" system, the inevitable result of Tommycare that was set up here in 1961 and then foisted on the rest of Canada.

Yet, there are doctors who have for decades been arresting, reversing and curing chronic diseases that "conventional" medicine cannot cure. They all prescribe a plant-based diet rich in fruits and vegetables. Here are three and there are more:

You are on the right track with your fruit smoothie every morning, Gladys. Dr. Matt Brown, MD, who came to Regina recently, told the Prevention PLUS+ audience that he has a stent to open one of his arteries and that he now eats fruits and vegetables plus Juice PLUS+ every day. Dr. Brown is a competitive cyclist and has been a national champion. Dr. Tamara Sachs, MD, explained in an interview last night why it is important to eat Juice PLUS+ with a diet filled with a rainbow variety of fruits and vegetables. Juice PLUS+ bridges the gap between what we do eat and what we should eat.

Why would our diets be deficient if we eat prodigious amounts of fresh fruits and vegetables? WE LIVE NORTH OF 40. Our food is picked green and travels tens of thousands of miles to get to us. It may look fresh, but it is not as good as it would be if it were allowed to ripen and if it were eaten as soon as it is picked. Our fresh food is a miracle of modern food handling, but it isn't fresh. Our green house tomatoes are "notional" tomatoes providing the notion of a tomato without being real tomatoes.

Juice PLUS+ is supported by 23 gold-standard, randomized, peer-reviewed, placebo-controlled, cross-over studies that have been conducted by leading scientists at leading medical centres in universities around the world and then published in leading medical journals. Juice PLUS+ is tested on real people, not on lab rats, in vitro, or by proxy. Juice PLUS+ quality is certified by NSF. More studies are currently underway.

No other pharmaceutical or nutraceutical product can make those claims:

Doctors frequently prescribe pharmaceutical drugs "off label" for unapproved uses that have never been tested. Doctors ignore Adverse Drug Reactions called "side effects" too and then prescribe more pharmaceutical drugs to treat them. None of this has ever been studied or approved by anyone. In Regina, anything goes, if you're a doctor.

Juice PLUS+ is food. Juice PLUS+ is superfood. Watch "Bridging the Gap".

- Morley

P.S.: Next we'll examine the doctrine of accessories after the fact and apply it to corrupt systems such as Canadian "healthcare".

Unrest

Egyptian police defending themselves from Egyptians 2012
Militaries everywhere exist to protect countries from other countries. The police everywhere exist to protect citizens from other citizens. Do they really? They do sometimes, but they mostly exist to protect the ruling élite and the state system — The Man. Militaries and police (and courts and jails) do not exist mostly to protect the citizens.

When most of the citizens believe The Man serves their interests, they are controlled by propaganda which ensures people do what their owners want. These dupes think they are part of the system, even if they are not. Only a few are actually members of the élite.

Britons, Australians and Canadians are, like Americans, the most brain-washed people on earth and in history.

Very little is required to control populations in Anglo-America because they believe The Man serves them. This idea is reinforced minute by minute by the mass media. They think they live in the "Free World." They think most of the rest of the world's eight billion live in the Third World or someplace else: The Second World? Examining these countries, we find stratified societies. They are pyramidal layer cakes. People in Anglo-America are the same as everywhere.

Canadian aboriginal people, who are about 4% the Canadian population, do not think they are part of the system: municipal police and the RCMP do not protect and serve them. Native Americans are about 1% of the American population. American blacks are about 12% of the population. Half of the young men in such groups are unemployed. American blacks do not believe they are part of the system. They know the state apparatus exists to protect the people above them in the social layer cake. Prisons are disproportionately filled with the underclass. "Life is all right in America if you're all white in America." These populations can be divided into white and black for simple classification of the übermenschen and üntermenschen, but things are never so simple:

Many young white men in Scotland, Ireland and England today find themselves with no property and no prospects. "God save the Queen?" For hundreds of years, they were shipped off to the Americas, South Africa and Australia because they were "surplus population". Irish who came to the United States in the nineteenth century were lower than the blacks there because they competed with blacks for jobs at the bottom of the barrel. Irish worked for less. This describes society in Boston:

And this is good old Boston,
The home of the bean and the cod,
Where the Lowells talk only to Cabots
And the Cabots talk only to God.

After the Irish Joseph P. Kennedy dynasty took over Boston, the song could be sung about them.

Today, the U.S. Empire dominates the world and the people who run the Empire control the üntermenschen by controlling the übermenschen. In Egypt, for example, the police in the photo above are being stoned by Egyptians who are sick and tired of being treated like garbage, starved, shot, tortured, and beaten. The military junta that succeeded Mubarak is — like Mubarak was — financed by and beholden to the CIA. In Syria and Bahrain tanks and machine guns are being used to quell unrest, not tear gas and rubber bullets. This is the colonial model of the British Empire which set up minorities inside minorities to control majorities.

Whatever happens, we have got
The Maxim gun, and they have not.

Who runs the United States of America? The American power centres are Wall Street and the Federal Reserve System, the Military-Industrial Complex, and the Israel lobby to which almost every Member of Congress and the President of the United States owes his (or her) ass. A cryptocracy does run the United States and the world. Unseen people who are not elected do run everything. Their main task is keeping unrest under their control and themselves in clover. The middle class where you probably live if you are reading this is nothing to the élite. The middle class would return to the lower class where the élite thinks the middle class belongs. The world would return to its usual structure with a few on top and everyone else on the bottom, controlled by a few guards. Of course the mass on the bottom is "surplus population" to the élite. With modern machines the élite can do without most of them. They wouldn't even need slaves. Do you imagine you would be in the top ranks of such a world? Think again. Your fate is with the people on the bottom — the 99%. You should want to help the üntermenschen to rise so you won't fall into the pit where they live. Your self-interest is also your Christian duty as it always was.

As I write this today, our "leaders" are busy engineering WW III with Russia and China on one side and the "Free World" on the other. If they succeed, the world's population will be reduced and you and hundreds of millions of others will be gone. Several hundred million were killed in the twentieth century wars. Twenty-first century wars will kill more. Weapons are more lethal. You had better join the anti-War movement. Don't be fooled. Our "leaders" don't care about the suffering people in Syria, or anywhere else. THEY ARE BEHIND THE SUFFERING. They do not care about you and they never did. When our "leaders" ask you to support their new war, tell them, "You can go to Hell. We aren't going there."

Of course, one can reassure oneself that nothing like this is going to happen. People reassured themselves in 1914 and in 1939 as some do before every war, but bad things do happen.

Aunt Charlotte

© MMXII V.1.0.5
by Morley Evans

Aunt Charlotte was born in Wales and raised in Bangor, Saskatchewan, a little town north of the Qu'Appelle River, not far from Melville. She subscribed to the Melville Advance weekly newspaper all her life. Aunt Charlotte continued to read the news from Melville even after she moved in the forties with her family to Calgary. Charlotte was a small town girl at heart.

Charlotte married Fred Evans who moved to Calgary after he was discharged from the Canadian Army in 1945. Uncle Fred was born and raised in Glenavon, Saskatchewan, a little town south of the Qu'Appelle River about 60 miles east of Regina. Charlotte and Fred met in Calgary. Charlotte was Fred's second wife which gave her parents some reservations at the time. Yet their marriage would last half a century.

My sister and I met Charlotte in the early fifties when we were five or six. We had driven to Calgary with our parents for a summer holiday. We would see the mountains for the first time! Fred and Charlotte's house was a three bedroom bungalow on 25A Street, similar to our house on McCallum Avenue in Regina. Their house was nicer than ours, I thought. The wood shingle siding was chocolate brown on top with a band of yellow around the bottom. The house was at the top of a steep hill from the street. There was a long steep driveway on the north side of the house that led to the garage at the back of the lot. The house changed hardly at all through the years. It always looked as nice as I remembered it when I first saw it.

Aunt Charlotte was beautiful. She was an excellent cook who always kept the house in immaculate condition. She was an accomplished gardener who grew championship gladiolus on the south side of the house and the garage. Uncle Fred told me in his later years that when someone bought their house someday, "They will just move in. They won't have to do a thing." It was a perfect house for them all those years: kept perfect by Fred and Charlotte.

My father, Eric, learned something about her one day when, as a Ford rep, he was visiting the Ford dealer in Bangor, Charlotte told me a few years ago. Eric mentioned that his brother, Fred, had married a girl from Bangor. "What's her name," the Ford dealer asked? "Charlotte," farther answered. "There never was anyone in Bangor named Charlotte," the Ford dealer replied. After telling him more about Charlotte, the dealer exclaimed, "Oh, you mean Lottie! She was such a sweet little girl!"

So my father greeted Charlotte with, "Hello, Lottie!" on that first visit to their new house in the early fifties. Charlotte was very surprised. She hadn't been called Lottie by anyone outside her immediate family for years. My father called Charlotte "Lottie" from then on.

In 1960, Charlotte had a son. They named him Arthur after his paternal grandfather, AW Evans, the Ford dealer. Arthur grew up to be a fine young man. He was a geologist with his own successful oil exploration company. Arthur tragically died of a heart attack in 2010 — yet part of Arthur lives on at the house on 25A Street: When Arthur was in Grade One, they gave all the children a sapling at school to take home. Uncle Fred thought the worthless twig should be thrown away because it was too small and sickly to live. Arthur had a fit, so they planted it in the backyard. Aunt Charlotte always told visitors that the 40-foot blue spruce beside the deck is Arthur's tree. It will live on there for years to come.

Lively political arguments would erupt at breakfast, lunch and dinner since Fred was a conservative and Charlotte was a Liberal Party supporter who actually liked Trudeau, if you can imagine. My sister thought they were always fighting, but I thought they got along very well. I think I was right.

In the living room, Charlotte had a wonderful Danish modern coffee table of sculpted teak with a heavy kidney-shaped plate glass top supported at three points. Under the glass was a bright green ivy plant sprawling out onto the carpet. That plant was growing there on my first visit in the early 1950s and the same plant was still growing there on my last visit to the house in 2004 at the reception following Uncle Fred's funeral. Charlotte kept things growing.

Charlotte welcomed family and provided a home when they came to visit. My sister, Merna, had a home away from home when she lived in Calgary. Uncle Fred's daughter from his first marriage, Marian, became a regular visitor with her husband, Don. Their daughter, Catherine, who lives in Calgary often visited her grandfather Fred and grandmother Charlotte for whom she felt fiercely protective. Loraine, in Saskatoon, and Dorothy, in Swift Current, came to Calgary to look after Charlotte in her twilight years. Aunt Charlotte was 90 years old when she died in February 2012.

Aunt Charlotte, with her bright wit and sharp tongue, will live on in my mind and in my heart. She always had time for me.
