The View from Abroad - America as Others See it

Americans are brought up to believe that the United States is a shining city on a hill, a light to mankind, that the world envies us for our values and freedoms, and hates us because we have them. This is ground into us from birth. Those of us now long in the tooth remember the Fifties when Superman jumped out of a window while the announcer spoke of a strange visitor from another planet fighting for “truth, justice, and the American way,” then thought to be related.

As one who has traveled much and lived in several countries, I can tell you: It ain’t so. The world does not regard America with admiration.

Today the internet profoundly affects the world’s view of America. The Web makes graphic and easily found things that in earlier times would have been out of sight from abroad.

For example, people in Kathmandu and Moscow can see horrifying and entirely truthful photos of the homeless living in piles of garbage in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, and dozens of other American cities. They can read of trade conventions avoiding San Francisco because of needles and excrement on the sidewalks. Such scenes are rare even in most upper-Third World countries. To the orderly Japanese, accustomed to spotless cities and responsible government, such things are, in the strict sense of the word, incomprehensible.

Home of the brave, land of the free, the envy of the world. Just ask us. The estimated homeless population of LA is 58,000 and climbing. Swarms of flea-carrying rats, which certainly exist, are said to cause outbreaks of typhus, a medieval disease. Anyone with a smartphone can see this.

The frequent mass shootings in the United States astonish most of the world. Opening fire on a country music concert, randomly shooting to death people in a gay nightclub, seems to most of the world a breakdown of civilization. It is.

Zionism is built on a foundation of hatred. Zionists believe that everyone hates Jews. Now, after seeing what they have done, everyone does hate them. Nice going assholes!

Don't complain that all Jews are not Zionists. Zionism is based on undifferentiated racism. That is why The State of Israel extends citizenship to all Jews worldwide. They endanger all Jews everywhere; Jewish supremacy is a lightning rod for hate; Zionism is the racist-paranoiac ideology of insane people.

Zionism is a contagious psychosis. One crazy person can infect others. This contagion can infect millions when Zionists control the creation and distribution of ideas in the news, entertainment, education, and advertising industries.

The so-called "defence" industry exists on a paranoiac foundation. Without enemies, there is no need for defence products. A peaceful world has no armies, navies, airforces, intelligence agencies or industries that support them. Zionist paranoia is useful to them. Enemies abound. Paramilitary organizations like police departments are susceptible. The legal and political systems can be are infected.

AntiSemitism is a unique self-inoculating feature of Zionism; It is used for defence and for aggression. Jews are an invisible and protected minority; Wealthy Jews are members of the aristocracy. They cannot be identified; Their misdeeds cannot be named; They cannot be prosecuted. Even non-Jewish Zionists are protected by their association with Jews. President Donald J. Trump is trying this. Everyone hates him. Something might work. Jews may save Trump. Who knows?

Are the United States of America, and its vassals like Canada and the United Kingdom, thoroughly infected with Zionism? Does the tail wag the dog?

Do you know who are these three men?

We can tell several things from this picture.

First, this picture was taken at a formal occasion of high-ranking Germans between 1935 and 1945. Our main clue is the central figure who is Hermann Goering. He is wearing his Oberkommando Luftwaffe uniform which features a wide stripe on his pants leg consistent with the generals of the Wehrmacht, the Riechswehr, and the Prussian army. Goering is wearing his Blue Max medal that was awarded during WW I. It wasn't given to fools. Goering would have been 48 years old in 1941 when everything was going well for Nazi Germany. Goering was 5'10" tall, but he is much shorter than the men who flank him. Goering is starting to put on weight; he looks fat.

Second, the man on the left side of Goering (Goering's right) is a Wehrmacht general. We know he is a general by the broad stripe on his pants leg and by the three stars on his collar. He is the most senior general after a field marshall. Compared to Goering, he would be about 6'4". He looks younger than Goering. There would not have been that many Wehrmacht senior generals. It may be possible to identify him.

Third, the man to the left of Goering is very tall; possibly 6'8" or even 6'9". All three men are wearing uniforms. This man is wearing a dark pinstriped six-button double-breasted suit (no cuffs) with a tie and wing-tip shirt collar. This is not Savile Row or even French tailoring; nevertheless, his dress and his bearing illustrate he outranks both Goering and the general. Goering is amused by what this man is telling his subordinates. The general is listening politely. 

We can see a crowded ballroom through the open French doors. A chandelier hangs above. It is lit, indicating it is evening.

Who outranked Hermann Goering and a general of the Wehrmacht? Hitler did. This isn't Hitler. Did he exceed Hitler? Who is he?

The statement Rick Sanchez makes cannot be accurate. The total number of Soviet and Chinese military deaths cannot be included in the total number of all deaths worldwide because their total is larger than the worldwide total.

Our allies included the communist Soviet Union led by Joseph Stalin and the Republic of China led by Generalissimo Chiang Kai Shek who was an anti-communist who was fighting a civil war with the communists, led by Mao Tse Tung, at the same time.

The worldwide total cannot include the Soviet Union and China. Nevertheless, the Soviet Union and China together did pay the price for WW II in blood and treasure. Both were allies of the West. Wikipedia has copious data.

As Sanchez says, "everyone else" does include Nazi Germany and the Empire of Japan — Emphasising the enormity of the contributions of China and the Soviet Union. Both have been ignored by the other "victors" who immediately substituted them as their new mortal threat so War could continue. 

DON'T BE FOOLED. Everyone loves war. They always have. We are not the "good guys". There are no "good guys". Unless we stop, we will be waging war until we are are all gone. Homo Sapiens (Latin for "wise man" ho ho ho) is his own worst enemy.

Göring: Why, of course, the people don't want war. Why would some poor slob on a farm want to risk his life in a war when the best that he can get out of it is to come back to his farm in one piece? Naturally, the common people don't want war; neither in Russia nor in England nor in America, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy or a fascist dictatorship or a Parliament or a Communist dictatorship.

Gilbert: There is one difference. In a democracy, the people have some say in the matter through their elected representatives, and in the United States only Congress can declare wars.

Göring: Oh, that is all well and good, but, voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country.

BELLE ÉPOQUE

From the French point of view, the "Beautiful Epic" was from the French defeat by Prussia in 1871 until the breakout of WW I. France and French culture were at a zenith. Everyone admired everything French!

From a British perspective, on the other hand, the beautiful epic was from 1815 when Napoleon was defeated at Waterloo until 1914 when WW I broke out.

From a German perspective, the beautiful epic was the same period as the British period. It included the creation of the Second Reich by Bismark and the Franco-Prussian War. The Third Reich was created by Hitler out of the wreckage WW I made of the Second Reich (Bismark's German Empire). The First Reich was the Holy Roman Empire.

Why did France rise from the defeats of Napoleon in 1812 and 1815 and from the Franco-Prussian War of 1871? How did that happen?

Germany was demonized before, during and after the Belle Époque. Napoleon is revered to this day in France while Hitler has been made so demonic no one will speak his name without spitting and cursing, even in Germany. It is a crime in many countries not to demonize Hitler. Oops, I just did that. Shame on me.

The British appropriated the first defeat of Napoleon in 1812 when Napoleon had been completely destroyed by Alexander I of Russia. The British appropriated from the Prussians the second defeat of Napoleon at Waterloo in 1815.

Americans did the same thing to the British and other American allies with World Wars I and II. The Russians call it "the American Gambit". 

It was a master-stroke that Americans learned from the masters of invention, industrialisation, commerce, geopolitics, militarism, propaganda, and high finance, the British. That's us! (I'm Canadian.) By June 2019, the masters had yet to figure it out. Since they did it to themselves, perhaps they never will.

Note: The American colonies used the British Empire to defeat France (Seven Years War) and clear the way West into Indian territory. When the British (George III) denied them, the Americans started the Revolutionary War which they won with the support of France that was itching for revenge on Britain. As a champion of Liberty and as an enemy of Great Britain, the United States was Napoleon Bonepart's only ally. Neither Great Britain nor France is mentioned as allies who were instrumental in U.S. successes. That would undermine the founding myths of the United States of America.

The West is preparing to commemorate "D-Day" which we are told was the beginning of the end of Hitler and the Nazi regime. 

"General Patton won the War, didn't he?"

No one in the West even knows about Operation Bagration. What was that? That was the decisive operation of WW II, that's what. 

The Red Army cut the guts out of Army Group Centre and finished the Wehrmacht as an effective fighting force. Hollywood never recorded this, but the Soviet Union did.

This is total Bullshit! Robert Mueller is a sneaky liar. He should be in prison. (I would recommend very hard time in Joliet. It's closed? Damn.) Watch. Pay attention. The moderator and his guest are good lawyers.

Neither the host, Jimmy Dore, nor his guest, are supporters of Donald J. Trump. Pointing out the deficiencies of Mueller does not exonerate Trump.


For your amusement, the letters “ue” in German are pronounced “you” and the letters “eu” in German are pronounced “oi” as in Deuchland. So Robert Mueller is pronounced Robert Myouller, not Robert Muller. That’s "mule" like the offspring of a horse and a donkey. MULE
