Washington is threatening Russia again. "Do what we demand or else 'the world' will implement sanctions."
Since the Soviet Union disintegrated, Russian attempts to be friends have been met with broken treaties and unrelenting U.S. hostility. Moscow is not accepting more abusive calls from Washington. "Click. . ."
Washington either starts World War III or it becomes a Third World Zero. With its manufacturing jobs transferred overseas, the only asset Washington has left is "the most powerful military the world has ever known." The clock is ticking. The beltway buffoons may think they can save themselves by war, but chess is the Russian pastime. Every Russian plays chess. Russians are good at chess. Russians can probably play poker too.
The Russians and the Chinese have very good poker hands. They may have some aces up their sleeves. Not only does China manufacture practically everything for everyone in the world today, but Gou Tai-ming (Terry Gou) owns Foxconn, the company that manufactures under contract the electronic devices that everyone buys: Apple, Microsoft, Sanyo, Dell, Samsung, Panasonic, Sony, Hewlett Packard. . .
I dare say the Europeans can add two and two. Some realize that Washington's little games turned Europe into ashes twice in the twentieth century. The rest of the planet (outside the empire, that is) figured out Washington's game long ago. Washington can only play "Leader of the Free World" as long as people continue to accept Washington's funny money. When the United States dollar is worth as much as a Confederate dollar, Washington's power will be gone and Washington's empire will turn to dust and blow away without a shot being fired. So much for "the most powerful military the world has ever known."
The Federal Reserve System has been printing trillions of dollars year-after-year while it has been driving down the price of gold to make its dollar appear to be worth more than gold. Investors in places like Russia, China, India, and Japan have been buying gold at discounted prices with the dollars they have accepted for the goods they have been manufacturing and selling to people in Washington's empire. Last year, Germany started asking to see its gold that the Fed supposedly has been keeping in its vault in Manhattan. Germany hasn't seen it yet. The United States Bullion Depository at Fort Knox may be empty too. The Fed does whatever it wants and is accountable to no one. The banksters are running the show. They think they are so smart. They are wallowing in the money they have printed.
What will happen soon is obvious even to someone who does not play chess (or poker). What do you think will happen? Will we have WW III or the end of the dollar empire? (By the way, the dollar empire will be finished, along with life on earth, even if it could "win" WW III.)
