Washington buys supporters. Washington buys the leaders of countries with bags of dollars which are printed by the United States Treasury. These are actually as worthless as Confederate dollars, but as long as people will accept them, Washington can do what it wishes. The leaders of Washington's allies are owned by Washington. The Dollar Empire is a house of cards. There will be a great gnashing of teeth and screams of anguish when the dollar collapses. The poor will not notice much difference because they already have nothing.
