Mike Pompeo spills the beans about the Venezuelan "Opposition". It turns out that the United States has tried, but failed repeatedly, to create an opposition to Venezuelan President Maduro who has the solid backing of the Venezuelan military, the Afro-Indian Venezuelan majority, and outside powers such as Cuba, Russia and Red China.
Maduro is opposed by the white 'Spanish' minority who would continue to control the vast Venezuelan oil reserves and squirrel what they can steal in banks in Miami. They said about Hugo Cháves, Maduro's predecessor, "He gives them bricks, mortar, and bread and they vote for him. THE NERVE! They deserve to live and die in cardboard shacks."
The "humanitarian crisis" has been created by the United States economic warfare which is designed to strangle Venezuela and create its collapse. Mike Pompeo and John Bolton are trying this in Iran. Iran has been on the outs with the Empire since the Iranians threw out the Shah who was the American puppet du jour.
Greg Palast reports from Venezuela. Palast is an American journalist but he doesn't have a job working for the lamestream media or the State Department.
