Print More Money

© MMXI V.1.0.4
by Morley Evans

"The United States can pay any debt it has because we can always print money to do that. So there is zero probability of default" - Alan Greenspan

That is what the Federal Reserve has been doing for generations. That is what central banksters have been doing since the Bank of England invented central banking. You could do that yourself. Print your own money and pay your bills. That would be illegal you say? Why?

THE WORLD NEEDS HONEST MONEY. We need it NOW.

Abolish central banks. The Federal Reserve System is the largest counterfeiting operation in history. Central banks create money out of thin air and loan it to our governments, with interest, to finance everything from welfare to war. Then they tell us we are living beyond our means. It's all our fault, see? "You must be responsible citizens. Keep your nose to the grindstone. Pay your taxes. Support the troops and our wars."

Did you know that what the Fed does is none of your business? With considerable difficulty, Congress managed to get a one-time limited audit this year. What the Fed does is none of their business either. The Fed controls the money of the United States and indirectly the Fed controls the money of whole world. You have nothing to say about it. So just shut up and obey orders, or else.

No Chance of Default, US Can Print Money: Greenspan
CNBC.com | August 07, 2011 | 03:15 PM EDT
Former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan on Sunday ruled out the chance of a US default following S&P's decision to downgrade America's credit rating.
"The United States can pay any debt it has because we can always print money to do that. So there is zero probability of default" said Greenspan on NBC's Meet the Press
"What I think the S&P thing did was to hit a nerve that there's something basically bad going on, and it's hit the self-esteem of the United States, the psyche" said Greenspan
Austan Goolsbee, the chairman of the White House's council of economic advisors, hit out at S&P on the same show, insisting the credit ratings agency had got its math wrong.
"Well, the basic case is they made a $2 trillion math error and forgot to check their work," he said. "So rating agencies that didn't make a $2 trillion math error reaffirmed the AAA status. You saw Warren Buffet say that, if they had a AAAA, he would put U.S. Treasurys in AAAA status."
Following the decision to downgrade America's credit rating, the head of sovereign ratings at S&P, David Beers, said the Obama administrations analysis of the move was a complete "misrepresentation."

  • Beers will join CNBC's special program on the debt crisis at 8 pm Sunday.

  • Greenspan said the current sense of crisis that has unnerved investors is about the euro zone, not the US.
'The United States was actually doing relatively well, sluggish but going forward until Italy ran into trouble," he said. "That destabilized the European system, and the crisis re-emerged. Europe is very critical to the United States in the sense not only do we have a fourth of our experts there, but more importantly, significant proportion of the foreign affiliate profits, in fact half of U.S. corporations, are in Europe."
"When Italy showed signs of significant weakness in selling its bonds—the yield is now over 6 percent, which is an unsustainable level—it created a massive problem within Europe because Italy is a very large country, cannot be easily bailed out and, indeed, cannot be bailed out," Greenspan added.

    World's Worst Drivers

On the bright side — and striking a blow for civic pride here in the Queen City — Regina apparently does not have the worst drivers in the world. China wins hands down. So there, we aren't the worst. I stand corrected.

WHO report highlights traffic safety in ChinaBy Zhang Feng (Chinadaily)
    Updated: 2004-10-12 00:32

A report on road safety released Tuesday may help China reduce traffic accidents, which kill and injure hundreds every day.

The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that more than 600 people are killed and more than 45,000 injured daily on China's roads.

Realizing the size of the problem, the WHO, the World Bank, the ministries of health and public security released the first Chinese-language edition of the "World Report on Road Traffic Injury Prevention" yesterday in Beijing.

This publication explains the main causes of road traffic injury and offers recommendations for road safety.

It will provide valuable guidance for China to cut down on problems, such as traffic jams and accidents, which are increasing alongside the country's fast economic growth, said Wang Jinbiao.

Wang, deputy director of the Traffic Administration Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security, made the remarks at a ceremony to mark the publication of the report.

The huge death toll in China is part of the global epidemic of traffic incidents that account for the deaths of some 1.2 million men, women, and children each year, the report says.

Road traffic fatalities in China are predicted to increase to almost half a million per year by 2020 unless urgent action is taken.

In China, injuries from road traffic crashes are the leading cause of death for people 15 to 45 years old, said the WHO.

Most collisions are caused by drivers that violate traffic rules, leading to 86.3 of traffic deaths and 77.3 per cent of injuries, Wang said.

Due to poor road conditions, a shortage of necessary measures and a lack of prevention, rural residents, farmer-turned workers and self-employed businessmen in urban areas are the main are often the victims, making up 39.2 per cent of people killed on the road.

Meanwhile, motorcycles drivers, cyclists and pedestrians, who violate traffic rules, are also frequent victims.

Beyond the loss of human life, poor road safety has an enormous economic impact.

Annual direct and indirect costs have been estimated at between $US12 to 21 billion, approximately 1.5 per cent of China's GDP, the report notes.

The Chinese Government has made road safety a priority. It created a 15-ministry committee under the State Council and introduced the first Road Traffic Safety Law in China which took effect on May 1 this year.

These are important first steps. The law, when fully implemented and enforced, has the potential to significantly reduce road trafficinjuries, the WHO said.

The WHO has also called on the government to embrace and implement other recommendations of the "World Report on Road Traffic Injury Prevention" in China.

Both the health and public security ministries responded to the call and promised to do better to reduce traffic deaths.

WHO promises to stand ready to offer assistance and expertise to assist China implement changes.

"The World Report on Road Traffic Injury Prevention" compiles and summarizes evidence that suggests crashes and injuries can be effectively prevented through simple strategies such as seatbelts for adults and children.

Other possible measures include legislating and enforcement of speed limits and drink driving statutes, and increasing the visibility of vulnerable road users such as pedestrians and cyclists.

    August 1945

Japan, August 1945 is remembered. But, of course, only fanatics and pacifists remember. Everyone else knows that dropping the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki was necessary to save the lives of a million American GIs who would have been required to invade the Japanese home islands to defeat the militarists who had taken control of Japan who, along with the Nazis, threatened to bring the world into a new Dark Age. Every sensible person knows that. Don't they?

I had no idea until I stumbled upon this. I had never heard of it before in my life:

I did not know this until last night:

On August 14, 1945, after the two atomic bombs had been dropped on Japan, and after Emperor Hirohito had agreed to surrender because “the enemy now possesses a new and terrible weapon with the power to destroy many innocent lives and do incalculable damage,” General Henry Harley “Hap” Arnold, to boost his already over-inflated ego (he was made a five-star general in 1944), undertook a completely unnecessary act of terror from the skies over Japan that had never before been seen. In their 1953 book The Army Air Forces in World War II, Wesley F. Craven and James L. Cate state:
Arnold wanted as big a finale as possible, hoping that USASTAF could hit the Tokyo area in a 1,000-plane mission: the Twentieth Air Force had put up 853 B-29's and 79 fighters on 1 August, and Arnold thought the number could be rounded out by calling on Doolittle's Eighth Air Force. Spaatz still wanted to drop the third atom bomb on Tokyo but thought that battered city a poor target for conventional bombing; instead, he proposed to divide his forces between seven targets. Arnold was apologetic about the unfortunate mixup on the 11th and, accepting Spaatz' amendment, assured him that his orders had been “co-ordinated with my superiors all the way to the top.” The teleconference ended with a fervid “Thank God” from Spaatz. Kennedy had the Okinawa strips tied up with other operations so that Doolittle was unable to send out his VHB's. From the Marianas, 449 B-29's went out for a daylight strike on the 14th, and that night, with top officers standing by at Washington and Guam for a last-minute cancellation, 372 more were airborne. Seven planes dispatched on special bombing missions by the 509th Group brought the number of B-20's to 828, and with 186 fighter escorts dispatched, USASTAF passed Arnold's goal with a total of 1,014 aircraft. There were no losses, and before the last B-29 returned President Truman announced the unconditional surrender of Japan.
This was the largest bombing raid in history. Yet, many timelines of World War II do not even list this event as having occurred. [emphasis added] Actually, there was a 1,000 bomber mission launched against Germany in 1942.

I found reference to the raid in this article:

Watch the interview with Robert McNamara. Is he INSANE?

This confirms my belief that the denizens of Washington are INSANE and that they have always been INSANE. I am simply amazed. Look at Washington's history:
    http://www.morleyevans.com/Contents/Sam/Sam.html

Here is something about Pearl Harbor and FDR that you should know and almost certainly don't:

"Guided by the ferocious genius of Curtis LeMay, the Marianas-based B-29s had 'scorched and boiled and baked to death' more than 200,000 Japanese, left millions homeless, and turned their cities into ash heaps." Does that make you proud? Why? Why not?

Pearl Harbor started the Pacific War 1941 to 1945 and justified everything, in some minds:
    Pearl Harbor
    Casualties and losses
    United States
    4 battleships sunk
    3 battleships damaged
    1 battleship grounded
    2 destroyers sunk
    1 other ship sunk
    3 cruisers damaged[nb 1]
    1 destroyer damaged
    3 other ships damaged
    188 aircraft destroyed
    155 aircraft damaged
    2,402 killed
    1,247 wounded[3][4]
    Empire of Japan
    4 midget submarines sunk
    1 midget submarine grounded
    29 aircraft destroyed
    64 killed
    1 captured[5]
    Civilian Casualties:
    57 killed
    35 wounded[3]

Anti-war.com comment tonight on Raimondo essay:

"Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely." People who believe they can "make reality" which we peons can only study and marvel at ARE INSANE. They are certifiably insane. No American should take them seriously. No one outside the United States should take them seriously. Not only are they INSANE they are DANGEROUS. These people need to be handled carefully until they can be put away in a secure rubber room someplace. Perhaps they can be incarcerated in some comic book dimension where they can rant and rave through their spittle while they leave the rest of us alone.

    End The Fed

    © MMXI V.1.0.5
    by Morley Evans

"If you print a lot of money, it loses value." Duh. . . Don't believe Canadian propaganda, Canadians. Canada is not exempt. Canada is not some "well-managed" financial bastion. Canada is a land of vested interests and protected monopolies. Canadians love government. Canada is part of the world-wide central banking — U.S. dollar reserve — system which is coming to an end. They may try to give their system new life by establishing a new global central bank with a one-world government that would run everything and own everything: It would be the Fourth Reich. (Actually, that's what we have now.) "It's coming down to the wire." "They can't make [the system we have] work anymore." "If we concentrate on that ideal of liberty, I believe we will find our answers."

    Unions

    © MMXI V.1.0.2
    by Morley Evans

"Maybe 10% of teachers are shitty, but 90% are good." Well?

The teachers' union protects them all good or bad. Protecting members and getting more for them is the primary purpose of unions. Unions are not established to improve the products the members make, or the efficiency of the processes by which they make them. Improvements work against the interests of members by lowering what they are paid. Efficiency punishes members while inefficiency rewards members.

"Eight weeks paid vacation every year and a fully indexed pension with retirement at 55."

Unions are based on the idea that "management" is bad and "the workforce" is good. Seniority brings benefits. It is strickly about power. In such a system it would be a miracle if only 10% were shitty, if this "labour relations model" has been used for very long.

Neither "management" nor "the workforce" can have power. The consumer must have supreme power which can only exist if the consumer can buy something else from someone else.

Not many years ago, union leaders were crowing that the United States had the highest paid industrial workers in the world. Guess what? All those American jobs are now being done in China by Chinese workers who do comparable — or better — work for much less.

Work is being done by people in such places as Malaysia, Mexico, Brazil, Bangladesh, and India. Africans will be next. The people at the bottom rise while those at the top have to find ways to serve others too, or they fall. There is no room for coercion: "Let's get the government to pass a law that gives us a monopoly and forces everyone to buy from us. Then we'll be rich." Sorry, no.

American workers today are buying Chinese-made products because they have low prices and high quality. Let's not forget Japan. The companies for whom the "highest paid industrial workers" once worked are out of business or restructuring.

    IEDs

In previous articles here you have been invited to look at the carnage that is being inflicted on the people of Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Libya, Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Bahrain, Yemen and Palestine to name a few. The news you read here is totally filtered out by our main-stream media. Instead, we are told about opening schools for little girls. Today, please look at the other side. What are IEDs (Improvised Explosive Devices) doing to the troops we send to pacify the Empire's unruly provinces?

This is not a pretty picture. You have not seen this on the nightly news or in the newspaper you buy.

"This is bad. This is bad. This is bad."

    Debt Ceiling Crisis

    © MMXI V.1.0.2
    by Morley Evans

Here is a statement from Rep. Ron Paul, Texas, about raising the Debt Ceiling. Why should Canadians care what Washington does? Canada is a satrapy in the U.S. Empire. So goes the United States so goes Canada. By the way, gold bullion just topped $1,600 a troy ounce and the U.S. dollar is sinking as fast as the Fed can debase the currency. Gold had been pegged at $36 when Nixon "closed the gold window" in 1971. The Canadian dollar is chained to the greenback and 80% of what Canadians sell, Americans buy. What happens in Washington matters to you, Canadians.

    August 1, 2011

ALEXANDRIA, Virginia - Today, 2012 Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul issued a statement outlining his opposition to the debt ceiling deal struck between the White House and Congress. See statement below.

"While it is good to see serious debate about our debt crisis, I cannot support the reported deal on raising the nation's debt ceiling.  I have never voted to raise the debt ceiling, and I never will.

"This deal will reportedly cut spending by only slightly over $900 billion over 10 years.  But we will have a $1.6 trillion deficit after this year alone, meaning those meager cuts will do nothing to solve our unsustainable spending problem.

"In fact, this bill will never balance the budget.  Instead, it will add untold trillions of dollars to our deficit.  This also assumes the cuts are real cuts and not the same old Washington smoke and mirrors game of spending less than originally projected so you can claim the difference as a ‘cut.'

"The plan also calls for the formation of a deficit commission, which will accomplish nothing outside of providing Congress and the White House with another way to abdicate responsibility.

"In my many years of public service, there have been commissions on everything from Social Security to energy policy, yet not one solution has been produced out of these commissions.

"By denying members the ability to offer amendments and only allowing an up-or-down vote that will take place in the hectic time between Thanksgiving and Christmas, this Commission essentially disenfranchises the vast majority of members from meaningfully participating in the debate over reducing spending and balancing the budget.

"Furthermore, despite the claims of the bill's proponents, there is nothing to stop the commission from recommending tax increases.

"One of the reasons why I humbly suggest that I am the most qualified Presidential candidate is my experience to see and understand the long track record of failure, disappointments, and bad recommendations made by such commissions.

"Times like these require statesmanship and steady leadership, which I and the grassroots activists who have joined my campaign believe I am uniquely qualified to provide.

"What should bother Americans most is that under cover of this debt ceiling circus, we learned from a recent GAO one-time, limited audit that the Federal Reserve secretly pumped $16 trillion into American and foreign banks over three years.  All of the Fed's fat cat cronies were taken care of at the expense of the American public.

"To put that into perspective, our entire national debt is $14.5 trillion, and our annual deficit will be about $1.6 trillion, meaning the Federal Reserve created and appropriated more than our entire national debt to banks around the world in a few short years.  We have been fighting in Congress these past few weeks over raising our debt ceiling by $2 trillion, an amount the Fed secretly gave away to just one big bank.

"For decades, politicians have promised future restraint in exchange for hikes in the debt limit.  We are always told that we must act immediately to avoid a crisis.  But time and time again, politicians reveal themselves to be untrustworthy, and we soon find ourselves in a crisis being led by the same folks who wish only to maintain the status quo.

"I believe in the great American traditions of free markets, sound money, and personal Liberty.  But we are moving far away from what made us the greatest nation in human history. We must cut spending and balance our budget now, before it is too late.

"Let me be clear.  The cuts we must make will not be easy, and there will be difficult times in the short run.  But I have the greatest confidence that if we come together as a People, work hard, and do the right things, our country will be back on track in no time and on its way to unprecedented prosperity.  But, if we continue to print money and pyramid debt, we will destroy ourselves and lose the promise of America forever.

"These difficult times require a President willing to stand against runaway spending.  If elected, I will veto any spending bill that contributes to an unbalanced budget, and I will balance the budget in the first year of my term.  I will not allow the Federal Reserve to destroy the value of our money by shoveling dollars into the pockets of its banker friends.

"I remain committed to working on behalf of the American people to drastically reduce spending and implement fundamental changes that will reform government and restore our nation's prosperity."
