Poor Bart Simpson! He must be in the Boreal forest in Canada or Russia. It is infested with nonillions of mosquitoes in the spring, summer, and autumn. They are relentless. No one can escape. Happily, the beasts there don't carry malaria, yellow fever, dengue, West Nile, and similar hazards. Northern mosquitoes will drive you crazy. They can even kill you. Winter offers blessed relief from the bugs.

There are some promising devices nowadays. Here are some. Military-grade units are costly but they can keep an acre clear of mosquitoes. They don't require electricity either and you won't have any. I wish I had had one when I was up north.
