Misunderstood is Winston Churchill. He was not the hero his fans love. This video essay helps to correct this somewhat. Churchill lived like a king, and he died like a king — at Great Britain's expense.  Churchill's most exceptional talent was being able to survive undiminished every disaster he engineered throughout his long career. British voters gave Churchill what they thought his just reward in 1945.
