The USA and its vassals need a serious enemy. The USSR was mostly the RSFSR so it is not a big stretch to replace that mouthful with “Russia”. Russia is a scary enemy. It is what the West needs. The West doesn’t want or need a friend. So, Russians, don’t be offended. Every drama requires a villain. That’s your part in this Kabuki Theatre. Actors say playing a villain is the most fun! Enjoy!
