New COVID-19 Updates from White House’s Task Force Dr Scott Atlas

As the nation faces, battles, and works to overcome coronavirus, “the science” is quite mixed.

Contrary to popular belief, Dr Anthony Fauci is not the only voice of science or medicine regarding COVID-19. In fact, there are a series of doctors, scientists, and healthcare professionals who disagree with the narratives that Fauci has put out.

One of those doctors is coronavirus task force specialist Dr Scott Atlas. Atlas recently joined the White House’s COVID-19 task force and has since shared some insight about the virus and feasible means of managing it.

According to Dr Atlas, the mainstream media is also complicit in putting out “damaging” misinformation about the virus, per Fox News.

Earlier this week, Atlas informed Fox News’ Laura Ingraham that “partial truths” about COVID-19 are part of the problem. Additional information from the coronavirus task force doctor notes that the mainstream media isn’t allowing the full virus data to be publicized.

Atlas then noted the danger of widespread fear among Americans. The coronavirus task force doctor explained that “[knowing] the data” is ultimately the anecdote to fear.

Thus far, the data has shown that most Americans have both T-cell immunity and antibodies against COVID-19; therefore, talking points asserting that more than 90% of Americans are vulnerable to coronavirus are categorically false.

T-cell immunity and antibodies against COVID-19 also explain why children have such low case numbers linked to the virus. Moreover, new updates from the CDC shows that recovery rates for coronavirus range between 99.997% and 94.6% according to age range.

The Agenda Behind COVID-19 Misinformation

Both coronavirus and the mitigation strategies promoted to contain it have become heavily politicized.

Right now, Americans are questioning the information, case numbers, and other related details that have come out about this virus. Furthermore, many conservatives believe that the government is using COVID-19 as a means of ushering in more control over people’s lives.

In recent weeks, the politicization of coronavirus has increased, especially as partisan differences in virus responses become more apparent. Republicans are gradually reopening, meanwhile, Democrats are tightening restrictions.

Just yesterday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) lifted statewide COVID-19 restrictions while New York’s Democrat governor has tightened restrictions on state residents.
