How the Pentagon Took Ownership of Donald Trump
http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/51534.htm

William Astore is a retired lieutenant colonel (USAF) and historian.

Before we begin:

We should not forget that President Trump has been beset by the Democratic Party and its accomplices in the lamestream media who have refused to accept his election — They have committed sedition by violating the Constitution. They have blocked every cabinet nominee. They have hounded Trump's allies out of office. They approved Pompeo who acts like a Mafia thug and surrounded Trump with his enemies. They cheered when Trump illegally bombed Syria. He was "acting Presidential" according to them. These people helped to restart the Cold War with their "Russia Gate" fantasy.

The "National Security State" has always had lots of help from the Democrats and the "free press". Harry Truman who restructured the United States with the National Security Act of 1947 and started the Cold War (Korea) was a Democrat like Woodrow Wilson (WWI), Franklin Roosevelt (WWII), JFK (Cuban Crisis), Lyndon Johnson (Vietnam and Israel), Bill Clinton (Afghanistan, Yugoslavia, and Iraqi sanctions), and Obama/Hillary Clinton (Libya and Syria)…

How does the Democratic Party manage to keep its image as the Party of Peace? Joseph Pulitzer was as rotten as Randolf Hearst. They both printed the same lies. They were both warmongers. They competed with each other to make money selling lies to a gullable American public — yet Hearst is demonized and the "Pulitzer Prize" is touted as the hightest award in journalism. Pulitzer was a Democrat. The media (newspapers, news magazines, books, movies, radio, TV) has always been Democratic and skewed to the "left" (ie: opposed to the rulers and owners).

Joseph Pulitzer was a Jew. Pulitzer and his brother who was also a newspaper publisher had to struggle against "anti-Semitism" as they made their fortunes along with other Jews who created the American myth and got rich doing it. They lived the American Dream.

What William Astore says about Trump and the Pentagon is all true. Don't forget Trump's opponents and enemies!

Americans [AND ISRAELIS] would do well to ponder the words of Megan Stack, a war correspondent for the Los Angeles Times who drew on her own “education in war” when she wrote: “You can overcome the things that are done to you, but you cannot escape the things that you have done.” She was undoubtedly thinking about subjects like the horrors of Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq, torture at the CIA’s “black sites,” cities rubblized in the Greater Middle East, and refugees produced by the tens of millions. Somehow, sooner or later, it all comes home, whether we as Americans admit it, or even realize it, or not.

“Here is the truth,” Stack notes:

“It matters, what you do at war. It matters more than you ever want to know. Because countries, like people, have collective consciences and memories and souls, and the violence we deliver in the name of our nation is pooled like sickly tar at the bottom of who we are. The soldiers who don’t die for us come home again. They bring with them the killers they became on our national behalf and sit with their polluted memories and broken emotions in our homes and schools and temples. We may wish it were not so, but action amounts to identity. We become what we do... All of that poison seeps back into our soil.”
