WAR ON IRAN?
© MMVIII v 1.0.1
LETTER to Regina Leader-Post
WAR ON IRAN? You bet. It's coming pretty soon.
Could the commie pinkos have been right? Was the invasion and destruction of Iraq primarily about oil? Here's an interesting article.
http://www.antiwar.com/engelhardt/?articleid=13030
It is hard to believe that before the invasion and destruction of Iraq, which was the inevitable result of ridding the world of Saddam, WMD, and bringing "duhmockricy" to the benighted souls of the Middle East, that BIG OIL was on the corporate endangered species list. Could never happen? The Detroit Three are on the list today.
Oil prices were low. The majors weren't making any money (of course, "nothing" to them would be a great deal for the rest of us). They were forced to merge to become the 6 supermajors of today.
Along with low, low oil prices, the dastardly Soviet commies and their ChiCOM brothers decided they were no longer going to play the fool to the "Free World" clean cut "good guys" we imagine ourselves to be. They went out of business! That meant that the defence industry was out of business: since there was no longer any need for them in a world dedicated to peace.
Then suddenly "9/11" struck out of the blue. It surprised everyone. Almost overnight it was dèja vu all over again. Bing and Bob were resurrected in reruns with Dorothy Lamour. The Andrews Sisters were heard again on the radio and on PBS.
We hunkered down to fight the war of the millennium. Everyone felt good again as they got used to ration cards and nights sleeping in the London Underground. Glen Miller tunes were being whistled with stiff upper lips. Lockheed Martin stock took a jump. Boeing sales soared.
We can trace today's events back to the perennial villain, Richard Nixon, who "normalized relations" with Mao back in the 1970s. That's when we started buying all that stuff "Made in China".
Peace just does not work, if your business is WAR! And our business is not peace. — Think about that when we begin destroying another country. It's coming soon. It's what we do here in the "Free World".

HPV vaccine
© MMVIII v 1.0.3
HPV vaccine is on the way?
Oh Great!
This is yet another scam from the pharmaceutical colossus, Merck, whose only proven interest is making money.
This is potentially even better than the cholesterol hoax because they will: 1). eventually inoculate every woman (1/2 the population!), 2). make it compulsory, 3). get the government to pay for it — guaranteeing Merck's income stream forever. And isn't money what it's all about when you get right down to brass tacks?
What if there are consequences ("side effects") that wreck the health of every woman? Who cares? The money will be in Merck's bank account and no one will be able to prove anything. "Any number of things could have caused this," their medical experts would claim. "We always provided warnings."
Side effects are good because everyone in the pharmaceutical industry will be able sell lots of things to mitigate side effects that develop. Top dollar lawyers and researchers will be employed so other pharmaceutical companies can get into the latest patent medicine bonanza Merck will have created.
Notwithstanding such benefits, though, experimenting with millions of people is inherently unethical and unwise. Nine-year-old girls are not lab rats — nor are 12-year-old girls, nor are people of any age.
Mothers! Don't trust your daughter's life to pharmaceutical giants. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT HER. Tell your daughters to say no to sex outside marriage. Provide all the reasons this is the smart thing to do. You can even explain this to your sons. Tell the school board "No Way."

Jennifer Loewenstein in Gaza
© MMVIII v1.0.0
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God. (Matthew 5 Verse 9)
Jennifer Loewenstein is no armchair peace activist. Jennifer Loewenstein puts her life on the line to be with people whose lives can be snuffed out any second so she can accurately report what is going on.
Blessings, Jennifer. Thank you for your work.

THE HOLOCAUST
© MMVIII v 1.0.1
Everyone has been beaten over the head for the last sixty years with the Jewish holocaust.
Everyone should be beaten over the head — daily — with this truth: the entire 20th century from start to end was THE HOLOCAUST. The Jewish holocaust was part of it. Untold tens of millions of human beings (perhaps more than 200 million) were thrown into the furnace to be consumed by the flames of war, revolution, and engineered famine.
THE HOLOCAUST victims were offerings burnt to the gods of madness. They were sacrificed by their fellow humans who had become pitiless, remorseless, killers in their quest for, for what?
Along with people, the treasures of the planet have been sacrificed to gods who care for us not — as man messed with things he didn't understand with consequences he could not foresee.

I Have Seen The Enemy
© MMVIII v1.0.2
Behind the images that flash every second, the news stories that tell half-truths, at best, and the talking heads and columnists who create an impression which is the opposite of the truth, we in the "free world" hear the incessant drum beat of war. We are always at war.
We in the Anglo-American empire have been sending the troops off to slaughter our enemies for centuries. In the 20th century, the troops defended us from all these people: the Germans, the Austrians, the Turks, the Japanese, the Russians, the Soviets, the Chinese, the Koreans, the Vietnamese, the Laotians, the Cambodians, the Iraqis, the Syrians, the Afghans, the Egyptians, the Argentines. And goodness gracious, let's not forget the Boers, and the Guatemalans, and the Panamanians, and the Nicaraguans, and the Filipinos, and the Iranians, and the Cubans. There may actually be more who have been a threat to us: the world is a dangerous place. Sincere apologies to anyone who was overlooked.
Mexico. Who remembers the invasions of Mexico in 1914 and 1916? Mexicans might remember.
Al Qaeda was conjured after "9/11". It was an enemy that had no face, no country, nothing tangible. Defeating this new enemy would require perpetual war. War without end would be our future, as if it has not been our past.
Today we have to bomb and invade Iran so the world and democracy will be safe. We always say that. We used to have to defend Christianity and civilization, but we aren't asked to do that anymore. No one really thinks we are civilized, or Christians, I suppose. The only constant is us, and the military industrial complex we support.
Iran, North Korea, and all of our other enemies combined spend less than 2% of what we spend on war. They are a threat to us? Who are we kidding? How dumb are we anyway? Oh, here is the kicker: We have not won a war in 63 years, despite the trillions that have been spent. No matter. If we won the wars, "defence" workers would be out of work. War keeps the war economy humming.
He who is always at war likely is the cause of war.
