Thank you for filling in some blanks surrounding the Dulles boys. Did you forgot Korea? Secret Agendas.

Kermit Roosevelt — like the fictional James Bond — single handedly overthrew Iran's Mosaddegh in 1953 and Egypt's King Farouk the year before. (According to him.) Kermit was the grandson of Theodore Roosevelt. He was working for the Dulles boys, John Foster Dulles, The Secretary of State, and Allen Welsh Dulles, who ran the Central Intelligence Agency. TR kicked off the Twentieth Century as the American Century so named by TIME Magazine's publisher, Henry Luce. After watching the recent Ken Burns PBS biography on the Roosevelt tribe, I am wondering if TR might have had something to do with McKinley's assassination.

You say TR was on a camping trip when McKinley was shot? I recall that Al Capone was in Florida, or in jail, when parties unknown pulled off the St. Valentine's Day Massacre, conveniently eliminating Capone's rivals.) TR looks an awful lot like LBJ. Both were congenital manic depressives and liars. Both were serious warmongers who also promoted domestic human rights reforms that masked their true natures. Both were nuts: They liked to kill. TR and LBJ were homicidal maniacs.[1] And so was FDR.[2]  They each killed hundreds of thousands (as many as millions) of non-Americans and a few Americans too. Killing is thrilling, killers have said. That may be a common trait of powerful people. Look at Cheney and Rumsfeld and Curtis LeMay. Look at the Right Hand Man Theory that is the usual route of succession in the Mafia and other top level criminal organizations. Alexander The Great — like his father before him — was probably bumped off by one of his top commanders.

A complete catalogue of everything Washington has done with interconnections between events and people — things  that are usually compartmentalized — would be fascinating. Bill Blum has made a very good start by cataloguing Washington's exploits since 1945.

20 Years Younger?

20 Years Younger?

Today, I am healthier, stronger and younger than I was ten years ago. Think about it. Ten years younger? That's impossible, you say? It's not when one had been living for years at death's door.

Not only that: today, I am healthier, stronger and younger than I was TWENTY YEARS AGO! (When I was over 100.) It's true. 

That's not all. While I am older today, I am healthier and stronger than I was when I was four years old and for most of the years that followed. Most of my life I was plagued with asthma, acute allergies, underweight, exhaustion, and other miseries. I learned to compensate for and live with my disabilities. Most doctors were worse than useless — they were causing my problems.

I was in a coma in June 2000 after I had been tortured for eight years by doctors with cholesterol-lowering drugs. 

That June, after food poisoning and three hours of vomiting, Dr. Buwembo drilled a hole in my head to drain a subdural hematoma that was putting pressure on my brain. He saved my life. When I was discharged from the rehabilitation hospital my sister-in-law said she thought I would have to be "put in a home." That didn't happen. I thank God and my sister.

With no thanks to the morons of medicine, it took the next twelve years to recover as I found my way out of the medical maze. 

Today, I do STRONGLIFTS 5x5 power lifting Monday, Wednesday and Friday at Gold's Gym. I get sunshine for Vitamin D at the gym on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I have a new life. Each trip to the gym proves this has really happened. Life is good!

My blood pressure is 100/63. I take no medication. Zero. My waist is 32 inches and getting smaller. My chest is 39 inches and getting larger. I am gradually getting stronger every day. I know this because I lift weights. I measure everything. I record everything.

I just turned 67. I may live another sixty years. And why not? Most people my age are planning to die. They have retired. They have pensions. They are on multiple medications. They live between doctors appointments. They want to lose weight. They do have grandchildren but they don't have their youth. They play bridge and golf. They worry about estate planning. They have white or blue hair. They don't sleep well. They are in pain. They are old!

My own life cannot be found on a life insurance salesman's actuarial table or on a pathologist's autopsy table.  This is far beyond what doctors learn in medical schools. What do they know? Not much. Doctors cannot guide anyone to health, happiness and long life, not even themselves. You, yourself, can start to learn something about health that they don't know by clicking HERE.

Juvenon ended my pain in 2003 and Juice PLUS+ may have something to do with what has happened to me since I started taking it in February 2007. Some say that living well is the best revenge. That is true. I thank God for my life — all of it, good and bad. Think about it.

After years in Hell, I have NO PAIN! I'm free! Think about that. Maybe I will live another sixty years. I feel like it! Do you?

You could do better too.

And the Canadian medical system? What about it? Were I the King, heads would roll.

Shir Hever is an economic researcher in the Alternative Information Center, a Palestinian-Israeli organization active in Jerusalem and Beit-Sahour. Hever researches the economic aspect of the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territory, some of his research topics include the international aid to the Palestinians and to Israel, the effects of the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories on the Israeli economy, and the boycott, divestment and sanctions campaigns against Israel. His work also includes giving lectures and presentations on the economy of the occupation. He is a graduate student at the Freie Universitat in Berlin, and researches the privatization of security in Israel. As for the myth that “vulnerable” and “isolated” Israel is surrounded by enemies, Israel is actually surrounded by strategic allies. The Palestinian Authority, bankrolled, armed and directed by the US, has long colluded with Tel Aviv. Standing shoulder to shoulder with Netanyahu are the tyrannies in Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar — if the World Cup ever gets to Qatar, count on Mossad to run the security.[1]

This is a classic system of colonial domination where small élite minorities are used by the colonial power to dominate and exploit the masses. Washington is the colonial power. The United States of America is a colony of Washington too, along with everyone in the so-called free world, called "Oceania" in 1984.

St. Matthew's Anglican Church

St. Matthew’s Parish began when the original Grace church was consecrated in 1910.

Today’s St. Matthew’s church building began life in 1915 as a “basement church.” In 1926, the roof over the basement was removed and the superstructure was built. 

The new church was not built on top of the existing basement walls. Instead, Frank Portnall, the architect, built the superstructure on 16 brick piers that were evenly spaced a few feet inside the existing basement walls. How deep these piers extend below the basement floor is not known. The big brick things one can see today in the basement are these piers. Everything above them — the north wall, the south wall, the floor of the sanctuary and the roof above it rests on these piers. The east wall, the west wall, and the bell tower have a foundation of unknown design but they were designed by Portnall who was a competent engineer. 

Plans may exist at City Hall or in the Saskatchewan Archive. Perhaps the Diocese of Qu’Appelle has an archive but this is not England or the United States where records are fastidiously kept for decades and centuries so plans may not exist.

On the main floor of the sanctuary, low walls were built atop the old basement walls. Aisles pass between those walls and the columns that rest on the piers in the basement. Small stained glass windows adorn those low walls. 

The tall stained glass windows on the high walls of the sanctuary are placed at the centre of the arches that rise from the columns. The roof is supported by the north and south high walls.

The south west entrance rests uneasily on a crumbling foundation that is not typical of the main structure. A large addition was built on the north side of the church a few years ago. It rests on piles. Douglas Ridgway, who looked after the mechanical systems for years, says the southern basement wall, which is brick, was reinforced with shot-crete in the sixties, overloading the footing. The Grace Broder chapel is another add-on to the main structure. Its foundation is unknown.

St. Matthew’s is a unique building built entirely of brick, including the foundation. This is very uncommon in Regina. Engineers here cannot be expected to know much — or anything — about this since they will have had little or no schooling and no experience with it. An expert mason is required who respects and understands this type of construction. The masonry needs attention. Repointing was incompetently done in the past and mortar is being attacked by moisture. Bishop Rob Hardwick has told us that an expert mason with experience with restoration of historic brick buildings lives in Fort Qu’Appelle. Let’s see what he thinks.

For some reason, panic was created using fear that St. Matthew’s is unsafe. A focused examination of the piers, the east wall, the west wall and the bell tower will tell us whether the building is safe or not. Everything else — regarding the building that is — depends on the answer to the question: Are we safe?

If it is determined that the basic structure is sound — which seems likely — immediate attention needs to be paid to the mechanical and electrical systems and to the shingles on the roof. If the basic structure is not sound, it is time to call for a bulldozer.

On-going attention to the building and its care and maintenance, including janitorial services, must recommence immediately.

Some parishioners have expressed concerns that “studying things to death” is a waste of time. I disagree. Discarding balderdash and seeking the truth is never a waste of time. Knowing what one is talking about is necessary. It must be done.

St. Matthew’s Congregation:
Rebuilding the congregation is as important as securing St. Matthew's structure. St. Matthew’s congregation is not unique. Religion, itself, has been seriously under attack since 1901. The Great War and its sequel, World War II, left cathedrals and churches empty everywhere.
