Global Warming

© MMXI V.1.0.4
by Morley Evans

You may have noticed that the globe doesn't seem to be warming. You may have noticed that the TV experts have been telling you to believe them not your lying eyes. Highly paid university professors teach kiddies about Global Warming. Since the Globe may not actually be warming, they have switched the monicker to Climate Change which is fairly safe since the climate is always changing. The source of this change, "climate experts" claim is still Carbon, so they are still talking about the same thing.

Last winter was cold and long. This spring is wet and cold. Violent weather has wreaked havoc everywhere. Is this evidence of Global Warming A.K.A. Climate Change? What to believe? First, violent weather is a sign of a colder planet, not a warmer planet. Second, long frigid dreary winters with record snow falls are also a sign of a colder planet not a warmer planet.

Many factors affect the climate. The most important of these are solar and geological activity as well as planetary orbits around the sun. The farther a planet is from the sun, the colder it is. The closer a planet is to the sun, the warmer it is. That explains why we have winter and why we have summer. Remember what they taught you in Grade One?

The Sun

The sun is the earth's most important source of heat, by far. In fact, the sun is the only source of heat for the planet, period. Sun spots indicate increased solar activity. The more active is the sun, the more heat it produces and the warmer is the earth. Sun spots have been monitored for hundreds of years and there is a very close correlation between solar activity and the climate. The more active the sun, the warmer the earth. The less active the sun, the cooler the earth. This has nothing to do with Carbon. It has nothing to do with the exhaust pipe on your car.

Unless one is talking about climates created indoors, man-made climate change is baloney. Pollution and environmental destruction are not bunk, however. They are definitely man-made problems that will not be solved if we waste our time burying carbon or taxing it. Overpaid "experts" and morons with megaphones who enjoy governmental patronage are a big problem too. Fraud is always a problem.

As the world gets cooler, we want to burn carbon as we have been doing since before the Stone Age to stay warm or we need to find an effective alternative, like moving south — otherwise we will freeze to death. You can test this hypothesis next winter if you turn off your furnace.

War Criminals

© MMXI V.1.0.9
by Morley Evans

We are definitely against war crimes. The people who commit war crimes must pay the price.

The Nazi leadership was arrested and put on trial at Nuremberg and other locations around Germany after WWII had concluded in 1945. Nazi fugitives have been hunted for the past sixty-six years. Adolph Eichmann famously was kidnapped in Argentina and taken to Israel where he stood trial for war crimes and was hanged in 1962. We have a long history of hunting down war criminals and bringing them to Justice that is not limited to Nazis.

Ratko Mladic, a Serbian leader during the civil war in the former Yugoslavia, has been apprehended and will be extradited to The Hague where he will be put on trial. People suspected of being involved with the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon were rounded up in Iraq and Afghanistan and incarcerated there. Some were shipped to the U.S. Naval base at Guantanamo Bay where a few were brought to trial and others were finally released. Arch fiend, Saddam Hussein, "he killed his own people", was hunted down, captured, put on trial and hanged.

An unarmed and defenseless Osama bin Ladin was captured by 79 Navy SEALs and summarily executed on the spot in his hideout in Pakistan. OBL's body was unceremoniously dumped into the sea, we are told.

We would like to believe that justice is done and that the wicked are punished. We are told, endlessly, that that is what is happening. But all of these actions have been and are mere "political justice" that fall into the same category as Stalin's show trials and the Nazi show trials that copied them. These "trials" and other "legal proceedings" don't even pass the smell test.

Was Osama bin Ladin guilty of anything? Who knows? We have only the accusations of George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, and Donald Rumsfeld who themselves are the prime suspects in 9/11. Without question, these three are certainly guilty of killing or seriously wounding millions since 9/11. They have destroyed Iraq. They, not Bradley Manning, should be sitting in prison in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, awaiting trial. Their crimes and the crimes of everyone below them are fully documented: they record everything everyone does or says and store it in computers. U.S. soldiers even have cameras on their helmets to videotape what a solder sees. Specialist Bradley Manning is merely charged under the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) with exposing a few of these stories.

Why haven't the U.S. soldiers featured in the video "Collateral Murder" been charged with anything? There is an earlier video that appeared earlier on the Internet of a similar episode that took place in Iraq some dark night when U.S. solders murdered Iraqi insurgents from their Apache helicopter. (An insurgent or a militant or a terrorist is anyone who fights back or whom we kill, whatever s/he is doing, such as walking to school, buying groceries or celebrating at a wedding.)

Shooting fish in a barrel is standard practice for our warriors who usually can boast of a kill ratio of one hundred to one and sometimes even a thousand to none, or better. They are brave. They can now sit at a computer console at an Air Force base in Nevada, fly Predator robot planes and bomb wedding parties in Afghanistan. Oops. Anyone who is familiar with the activities of our "heroes" since 9/11 knows they often surpass anything done by the Soviets or the Nazis for merciless ferocious barbarity. They have huge advantages with cold hearts and minds that are modeled after the Terminator.

The Terminator

We established ourselves as supreme war criminals when we dropped atom bombs on defenseless Japanese civilians to "end the war and save millions of lives." To warm up for that, we fire bombed Dresden, Magdeburg, Berlin, Tokyo and countless other cities. We had to kill them to save the world.

Why won't any of us "good guys" be brought to justice? You know why.

Here's John Pilger if you don't understand who and what we really are:

I'm As Mad As Hell

© MMXI V.1.0.4
by Morley Evans

I'm as mad As Hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore.

That is what is sweeping the Arab world from Morocco to Pakistan. They are as mad as Hell, and they are not going to take this anymore. Hundreds of thousands are in the streets in Syria, Bahrain and Yemen. Ben Ali the dictator of Tunisia fled to Saudi Arabia. Hosni Mubarak was driven out of power in Egypt and is now under arrest along with his son. Muammar Gaddafi is fighting for his life in Libya. Algeria is ready to pop.

For this article, we'll call them Arabs although they are not all Arabs. They are not even all Muslims. Hundreds of millions are affected. Why are they doing this?

They are as mad as Hell, and they are not going to take this anymore.

Arabs have been crapped on since we took over their world in 1918 after World War I. They have been suffering under dictators who work for us. Actually, their dictators work for our leaders not us. Our leaders are the people who own us. Our leaders want you to hate Arabs so you won't look at them. Some say a financial tsunami is coming. Don't blame the Arabs.

One day you may wake up too. When you do, get up out of your chair, open your window and yell, "I'm as mad as Hell, and I'm are not going to take this anymore." But first, you have to wake up.

Colonialism

© MMXI V.1.0.6
by Morley Evans

Colonialism

Here is a page on the Yangtze Patrol (1854-1945).
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yangtze_River_Patrol

The United States was a full partner in the rape of China that followed the Opium Wars (1839-1842 and 1856-1860). This raises two important questions.

First Question: How did the United States become so important only 71 years after the Treaty of Paris (1783) which ended the American Revolutionary War? The United States was important from the outset. The Mexican War in 1846 took 2/3 of Mexico. In 1853, Commodore Perry arrived in Tokyo Harbour with four black steam ships which resulted in the Meiji Restoration, the opening of Japan to Europeans and Americans followed by the creation of the Empire of Japan.  The Civil War (1861-1865) came after these foreign wars. The first American foreign war was against the Barbary Pirates (1801-1805 and 1815) during which time the United States was a periodic ally of Napoleon (1790-1815). The War of 1812 was part of the Napoleonic Wars. The Spanish-American War which gave the United States its bases in the western Pacific on the Philippines and Guam and Puerto Rico and Cuba in the Caribbean was in 1898.

Answer: The Americans had a powerful sponsor. Who? A clue is that the American flag of thirteen horizontal alternating red and white stripes was the flag of the British East India Company which, by the way, was behind the Opium Wars! The East India Company was owned by the bankers in the City of London. They invented international narco-traffiking, not Colombian cocaine cartels or even the Sicilian Mafia. Some people claim these bankers still control the world for fun and profit. Perhaps they do.

Second Question: How did the noble sentiments of the Declaration of Independence (1776) come to represent the United States and not its evil deeds (which have been assigned to everyone else, not the least of which is the British Empire)?

Answer: The light from the Declaration of Independence is so bright, it blinds everyone from seeing what has been going on and is going on now.

And Justice For All

© MMXI V.1.0.4
by Morley Evans

Sad to say, Canadians, generally, have no innate sense of Justice, yet this movie, ...And Justice For All, was made by a Canadian who makes movies in the United States about Americans, some of whom do have an innate understanding of Justice, perhaps not many, but some do.

Canadians, generally, suffer from invincible smugness. Smugness is the distinguishing Canadian hallmark. Canadians, generally, think crimes committed by certain people in Canada are acts of nature, like lightning, tornados or moose attacks, while they tut-tut injustices in the United States which are exposed by Americans who have an innate sense of justice. Canadians hear no evil, see no evil and speak no evil about themselves.

As a Canadian, I am a stranger in a strange land where justice is unknown and injustice is common. Canadians need a good shaking. "Something really wrong is going on here."

Occam's Razor

© MMXI V.1.0.5
by Morley Evans

Occam's razor |ˈäkəmz| (also Ockham's razor)
the principle (attributed to William of Occam) that in explaining a thing no more assumptions should be made than are necessary. The principle is often invoked to defend reductionism or nominalism. Compare with principle of parsimony.

The demolition of the buildings at the World Trade Center (WTC 1, 2 and 7) on Tuesday 11 September 2001 were interesting events that have caused a great deal of trouble for millions.

With one exception, the proposed explanations are unsatisfactory — especially the official version that Arab highjackers flew two Boeings into WTC 1 and 2 causing them to collapse. Only the explanation proposed by Dr. Judy Wood makes sense because it fits the evidence.

The reality that these three huge buildings were turned into dust in a matter of a few seconds each is not explained by fires caused by jet fuel (which is kerosene), or explosives, or thermite, or "nano thermite." None of these would cause what was witnessed by millions. Dust. Huge, unprecedented, clouds of dust.

None of the other explanations would have caused the destruction of WTC 3, 4, 5, and 6 along with Bankers Trust nor the bizarre phenomena that was observed such as the toasted cars on the FDR Freeway a mile away. In addition to these, undamaged paper from the towers littered Manhattan along with the microfine dust that didn't blow away. There were weird fires and many other strange things such as cars with missing engine blocks and Hurricane Erin just a few miles offshore on a balmy calm autumn day.

The fact that most people don't know what caused the events of 9/11 does not change what happened and the phenomena cannot be ignored or altered to fit what most do know: fire, explosives and exothermic chemical reactions used to weld railroad tracks.

The demolition of the WTC was caused by something that turned concrete, steel, office equipment and people into dust. Most of us don't know what did that, but whoever did it does know. It is an unknown process to most of us only.

Most of us don't know how a television or a computer or the Internet works either, but no one would claim they don't exist or that old communications technology such as jungle drums and smoke signals have anything to do with them.

Security Experts

© MMXI V.1.0.3
by Morley Evans

Comment on an article that appeared yesterday on the Australian Broadcasting Network (ABC):

Your conclusion that the killing of Osama bin Ladin "was an entirely legitimate act of war that has made the world a better place," would only make sense if bin Laden was what Washington claimed. That is very doubtful. Read this:

What is much more likely than the official story is that the events of 9/11 and the acts of terrorism that followed were false flag operations by the very people who are using them to further expand Washington's empire. Apologists for these terrorists make a living passing themselves off as "security experts" and writing balderdash.

Washington's Empire

© MMXI V.1.0.8

Comment on 'Unprovoked' Attacks by Ivan Eland in AntiWar.Com

http://original.antiwar.com/eland/2011/05/10/unprovoked-attacks-from-1812-to-911/

VERY TRUE, SIR: Washington has always had a very aggressive foreign policy. If one considers everything outside the beltway to be Washington's world-wide empire, the Civil War was no different from the various U.S. invasions of Canada and Mexico and the steady expansion of the "American" empire [across the continent and] around the world. The Pentagon (which is unique in history) has divided up the globe into six commands as if every part of the world and all of its billions of people are part of Washington's empire. Americans, themselves, are mere cannon fodder for Washington's hubris.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Department_of_Defense#Unified_Combatant_Commands

The real Evil Empire is revealed:

There are ten Unified Combatant Commands. There are five military branches: the CIA, Navy, Marines, Army and Air Force. Each branch has its own, or is its own, intelligence service. The CIA has its own secret army. There is the Coast Guard and a Reserve for each military branch. There are other branches such as the National Security Agency (NSA) which has a budget that is larger than the CIA to electronically spy on everyone. NASA is a military organization. Space is the next frontier.

There is an empire of military bases around the globe, some are inside the borders of the former U.S.S.R. Germany and Japan are still occupied by the United States over sixty years after WW II. Great Britain is occupied by the United States! The Pentagon may have lost count of all the foreign bases, which number over a thousand and, like cancer, have a life of their own. Iraq has been destroyed and its people are being driven out or killed. U.S. military bases are being built. They are the new Iraq. This is the freedom, human rights and democracy that Washington promises to bring to the world.

Washington has many helpers, like MI6 and NATO.

The military-industrial complex benefits from U.S. foreign aid. Money is given or loaned to foreign countries to be used to buy weapons from U.S. military contractors. Often the money doesn't even leave the U.S. but goes directly to a contractor. Every Congressional District has jobs producing military equipment ensuring the military budget will not be touched. As non-military jobs go to China and elsewhere, military jobs will be all that are left for Americans (similar to those happy times of WW II when every American was involved in the war effort). The British are not left out. The world's largest weapons contractor is BAE Systems according to Wikipedia.

Dictators around the world are satraps of Washington's empire. Their job is to keep their people in line while playing the roles Washington has assigned for them in the Kabuki theatre that is presented to Americans on the 24-hour news cycle that keeps "well-informed" Americans thinking straight. The increasing militarization of American police reminds us that they — as everywhere else — primarily exist to protect the rulers. Are you part of the Inner Party, the Alpha caste? No? Too bad.

Washington seems to be the devil's workshop. Do they have new weapons that make everything else obsolete, even nuclear weapons? Will they find a new way to take over the world's money? Stay tuned.

Gold

© MMXI V.1.0.8
by Morley Evans

Fort Knox

Gold has been the repository of value throughout history. The reason is people cannot create gold out of thin air. Gold has to be mined. Gold is rare. When money is debauched, people who can seek refuge in gold. As currency becomes worth less (worthless), gold becomes worth more. The largest gold repository in the world is the Federal Reserve Bank of New York in Manhattan. The second largest repository is the more famous Fort Knox in Tennessee. Most people will remember the James Bond movie Goldfinger but something more complicated than simple bank robbery has been going on.

The U.S. dollar currently is the world's reserve currency, replacing Great Britain's Pound Sterling of the nineteenth century. International payments are made in U.S. dollars which are "as good as gold." But people don't always believe that is true.

President Nixon "closed the gold window" in 1971 when West Germany withdrew from the Bretton Woods system and the Swiss and French demanded payments be made in gold because the United States had been debauching the dollar to pay for the War in Vietnam and the Great Society programs at home. The official price of gold then had been pegged at $36 an ounce. It has been allowed to float since then. Today, gold bullion is over $1,500 USD an ounce, reflecting how much less the dollar is worth now than forty years ago due to the Federal Reserve System and profligate American politicians.

With Ben Bernanke picking up from Alan Greenspan at the Fed and creating even more phony money to "resolve the world-wide financial meltdown" that had been caused by Greenspan, the Chinese, and everybody else, may soon start demanding payment in gold, rather than continuing to accept dollars and then use them to buy T-Bills that currently finance the United States. Bernie Madoff has said the United States is a Ponzi scheme. Madoff knows what that is!

Can the United States sell off gold to solve the fiscal crisis it faces? Will the United States have to start paying in gold? How much gold does it have? No one really knows. Could the gold repositories be empty? Who owns the gold that is there? Secret deals have been made between the Fed and other central banks. An independent audit has been demanded to answer these questions. Whatever happens, the era of Washington's empire is over after less than a century — unless Mr. Bernanke has some magic no one has ever seen in the history of mankind. That seems doubtful.

What if someone could make gold out of thin air, as they can create money out of thin air? Examples abound to show what happens. Spain was riding high when it started looting the New World after Columbus's voyage of discovery in 1492.  Tons of new gold entered Spain, and Europe, as Spanish galleons brought gold and silver home to Spain. As gold became less scarce, its value fell. Spain acquired the "Spanish disease" — it had lots of money yet Spain became poor.

Great Britain was sunk by its spending in World War I of around a million dollars a minute. Though it won the war, it lost its position and the baton of world domination was passed to the United States which emerged as the world's only real superpower in 1945 after World War II.

Today, the U.S. "printing presses" are running day and night creating money to pay for out-of-control U.S. spending that is required to finance Washington's empire, its many never-ending wars, its military-industrial complex and its ballooning social and infrastructure obligations at home. The jig is up. There is no escape. A new day is dawning like it or not.

Mises

© MMXI V.1.0.3
by Morley Evans

The main issue in present-day political struggles is whether society should be organized on the basis of private ownership of the means of production (capitalism, the market system) or on the basis of public control of the means of production (socialism, communism, planned economy). Capitalism means free enterprise, sovereignty of the consumers in economic matters, and sovereignty of the voters in political matters. Socialism means full government control of every sphere of the individual's life and the unrestricted supremacy of the government in its capacity as central board of production management. There is no compromise possible between these two systems. Contrary to popular fallacy there is no middle way, no third system possible as a pattern of a permanent social order. The citizens must choose between capitalism and socialism or, as many Americans say, between the American and the Russian way of life.

— Ludwig von Mises, Bureaucracy [1944]

The problem is that the market we have in the "Free World" is what Mises called the "hampered market." This is not a free market at all. Instead, powerful people use the government to give themselves more, at the expense of the powerless, than they would get in a free market. What we have in the "Free World" is the "Russian way of life." Big Business is fascism, the Mussolini, the NAZI, way of life. (They copied us.) It is 19th century mercantilism. It is not free enterprise. It is not free and the powerless do not benefit — just as the proletariate in Russia did not benefit from communism. In the Soviet Union the czarist aristocrats were replaced by the Soviet aristocrats, the Bolsheviks. The serfs remained serfs. This is the usual arrangement of state level civilization which began to emerge about 5,000 years ago. Those with power benefit in a system that is essentially corrupt and criminal, unless you can justify murder. The state-level system has been called many things, but it is feudalism plain and simple. The serfs hope for a good czar who won't whip them too severely. It's not much to hope for, but serfs usually get less. Serfs who are strong try to fight their way into the ruling caste. In this system, producers don't compete for customers, instead warlords and vassals compete for power. It stinks.
