In the current U.S. Presidential election some are wondering if libertarians and progressives could not work together. The Republican and Democratic Parties satisfy neither. Both libertarians and progressives oppose the U.S. Empire, endless war and the grotesque corruption of the political system. Neither condones exploitation of the powerless. Can they work together? Probably not:
Libertarians, especially anarcho-libertarians, think that the State and its power is the root of all social problems. They believe in voluntary, lawful, transactions between free people. They think that taxation is theft and everything funded by taxation is the poison fruit of the poison tree. They are influenced by thinkers like Adam Smith, John Locke, Thomas Paine, Ludwig von Mises and F.A. Hayek. They favour peace and prosperity for everyone. Libertarians are dead set against fraud, robbery and murder.
Progressives and socialists think that the State and its power is the solution to all problems because power can be used to correct social problems when kind and just people wield the power. Like Zeus, good people can smite evil with bolts from heaven, they believe. Progressives too favour peace and prosperity for everyone. At the extreme end of the progressive spectrum are anarchists who like anarcho-libertarians think the State and its power is the root of all problems. Left wing anarchists admire Trotsky who ran the Red Army and have disdain for Stalin who ran the Soviet terror state. Libertarians wonder if they were really different or simply the same inevitable result of the progressive program.
Most academics and broadcasters have tended to belong to the left wing because they don't ignore society's problems and they care — unlike élites with whom socialists often confuse libertarians — understandably because élites sometimes masquerade as libertarians to conceal their true vicious nature.
Conservatives share with libertarians a cautious approach while providing the usual home for élites who like everything as it is — with them in control, wolves in sheep's clothing busy bilking the masses.
While libertarians and progressives are united in what they want to achieve and what they don't like — namely, élites who appropriate everything at the expense of everyone — their solutions are diametrically opposed. Libertarians think when actions are governed by a few simple universal rules, society has a self-correcting mechanism that benefits everyone. Progressives think they need to fix things that are wrong — post-haste. Live and Let Live is not part of their philosophy. You must conform to them, or else. Progressive like to forget people like Felix Dzerzhinsky and the other Bolsheviks and Communists, while remembering only Hitler and the Nazis.
How could libertarians and progressives work together? A circle cannot be a square and the road to Hell is paved with the good intentions of the progressives.
NOTE: Where are liberals on the left-right political spectrum, you may be wondering? They are in the middle, with one foot on either side. Where does one put the élites? Where where does one put the Mafia? The measure of right and wrong is not who has wealth, but how they got it. The "soak the rich" mantra of the left leads to disaster. The Soviet Union is an excellent example of what to avoid. The United States, which is well on the way to repeating the Soviet and Nazi experiments provides one more cautionary tale.

The host says, "This is not a sob story about whining Indians." It is depressing, though. When Bishop Desmond TuTu visited some Canadian Indian Reserves a few years ago, he said he had never seen anything as bad anywhere. The Americans defeated the American Indians in wars that went on for centuries while Canadian Indians were in business with the Hudson's Bay Company, the French Voyageurs and the North West Company. Canadian bureaucrats in Ottawa defeated the Canadian Indians. We live in "A dictatorship of laws, not men." Canadian Indians were imprisoned on tiny Reserves by the Indian Act. Their jailers were the Indian Agents. Indians could not vote until recently; they could not leave the Reserve, or do anything without the government's approval. Indian children were taken away from their parents and shipped to residential schools where they had the Indian beaten out of them. Their parents and grandparents were left to rot on whatever they got on welfare the government decided to give them, exactly like inmates in every prison. Other Canadians despised them because they got welfare and didn't pay taxes. "We have to work and pay taxes. Those bums." In Newfoundland there are no Indians. Canadians have thrilled to movies about the 7th Cavalry and Indian fighters like Dan'l Boone, but in Canada most of the fighting was done by grey faceless bureaucrats. They are our enemy. They make the laws that imprison all of us. We pay taxes. We are slaves. We have no rights. We are just like the Indians. This is Oceania.
You say you are a "civil servant"? (Everyone in Canada "works for the government" in one way or another.) You are part of the system. You are really one of the guards in the Gulag that is run by the few top billionaires who "own" everything. You have nice lives and a pension? Harper is going to change that. Harper announced to the big billionaires at the über luxury resort at Davos, Switzerland, that he has plans for Canada. Harper hasn't told Canadians he has plans for them or what they will be. Don't you find that peculiar? Who do you think Harper works for? He doesn't work for you: neither does Barack Obama work for Americans. Obama works for Wall Street and the Federal Reserve, just like the Bushes and the Clintons. You were born free but everywhere you are in chains. Wake up, slaves!

The Big Soap Opera

Andrew Adler*, Atlanta Jewish Times publisher, suggested that Mossad assassinate Barak Obama. This is not a new idea. On my bookshelf is a weighty tome that says that James Jesus Angleton, head of counterintelligence for the CIA in 1963, and Mossad assassinated JFK with collusion from higher-ups in the U.S. government, including J. Edgar Hoover and Lyndon Baines Johnson. The U.S. got rid of Nasser. Israel got nuclear weapons technology — which Kennedy had refused — from Johnson who got to be President. Kennedy had very dangerous enemies and they weren't all behind the iron curtain. Ironically, Khrushchev, the supposed villain of the Cuban Missile Crisis, worked with Kennedy to avert WW III, over-ruling his own military which wanted war.
The United States has been in lockstep with "The Jewish State" since the Six Day War which was engineered by the United States. Gamal Abdel Nasser was replaced by Muhammad Anwar el Sadat, a CIA asset. Sadat "made peace with Israel," and was assassinated NOT by the Muslim Brotherhood and replaced by Hosni Mubarak, another CIA asset. The Egyptian Junta today is still CIA controlled. The only people who don't work for Uncle Sam are the Iranians, Russians and Chinese.** The Pakistanis are wavering. The U.S. Empire is controlled by Wall Street and the Federal Reserve along with the U.S. military-industrial complex and the Israel lobby (which is not the same as the boys and girls in Tel Aviv/Jerusalem). All politicians everywhere are insane, not only those you don't like for one reason or another. Remember: God is an anarchist.
Zionists — they are all racist paranoiacs and, as such, are all criminally insane — think the United States is controlled by them, not the other way around. Ariel Sharon thought that. Sharon is currently in a coma waiting to be admitted to Hell where he will burn for eternity along with his ilk. The groveling U.S. Congress and President certainly do give the impression that the United States is controlled by Israel, but I think the Israelis do what they are told, like everyone else. They play whatever role has been assigned by Washington in the Big Soap Opera. The American people have zero power and most of them (99%) know that. Some American citizens volunteer to become cannon fodder.
They can all go to Hell as far as I am concerned. Nothing they do surprises me. Fortunately, WW II was the last war the Empire won. That was 67 years ago. Despite much death and destruction, victory has been elusive and things have been going downhill ever since 1945. Yet, the Empire continues to believe in militarism: outspending the rest of the world combined 2 to 1. Speeding down the freeway to oblivion, the "world's only remaining superpower" today is bankrupt and soon will be gone, I hope and pray.

The Regina Liar-Post headline reads "ABORIGINALS OPTIMISTIC". Sure they are. You bet. The photo below tells the story. Prime Minister Steven Harper towers over the Indian chief wearing a funny hat. They and the current Minister responsible for the Indian Act are surrounded by big Canadian flags. Harper smiles his smarmy smile. The Indians can expect to get more of what they've been getting since Confederation in 1867. They know it too. Indians are not optimistic. They aren't stupid. You may not know that three groups founded the country known today as Canada. The Anglos, the French and the Indians. The Indians owned 95% of the land. Like the French, promises to the Indians have been ignored for one hundred forty-five years. The people who run the country known as Canada are liars and thieves who call themselves "Honourable". They aren't. It matters not what Party. They steal from everybody, not only Indians. Harper is also a warmonger and a killer who has conned millions to get where he is today. We are all little Indians to Harper. After giving the Indians a few minutes of his valuable time, Harper jetted off to Switzerland to tell the convened billionaires how smart he is. Do you think Harper works for them? Harper doesn't work for you.

The New Mardin Declaration
© MMXII V.1.0.0
by Morley Evans
The following text was forwarded to me by Riazuddin Ahmed and was derived from the Mardin Peace Summit Conference:
In the Name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful The New Mardin Declaration
All Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds and Peace and Salutations be upon Muhammad, who has been sent as a Mercy unto the Worlds, his family and all of his companions.
A Peace Summit Conference (Mardin: The Abode of Peace) was convened in the Turkish city of Mardin at the Artuklu University campus on Saturday and Sunday (27-28 March 2010) under the auspices of the Global Center for Renewal and Guidance (GCRG – based in London) in cooperation with Canopus Consulting (based in Bristol) and sponsored by Artuklu University.
Participating in the conference was a group of renowned Muslim scholars, from across the Muslim world, who brought with them diverse and relevant specializations. They gathered in order to collectively study one of the most important (classical juridical) foundations of the relations between Muslims and fellow human beings, namely: the (classical juridical) classification of ‘abodes’ (diyar), as Islamically conceived, and other related concepts such as jihad, loyalty and enmity, citizenship, and migration (to non-Muslim territories).
They selected this juridical conceptual distinction because of its importance in the grounding of peaceful and harmonious co-existence and cooperation for good and justice between Muslims and non-Muslims, provided that it is understood in consonance with normative religious texts and maxims, and in light of higher objectives of Islamic Law.
The organizers chose as the main research theme for the conference the legal edict (fatwa) passed by Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyya concerning the classification of the city of Mardin during his lifetime. The edict was chosen because of the significant intellectual, civilizational, symbolic meaning that it holds.
The point of it is that Ibn Taymiyya, in his classification of the city of Mardin — through his deep understanding of the Shari‘ah and keen insight and awareness of the context in which he lived – went beyond the classification that was common amongst past Muslim jurists: Dividing territories into an Abode of Islam (in which the primary state is peace), an Abode of Kufr (Unbelief) (in which the primary state is war), and an Abode of ‘Ahd (Covenant) (in which the primary state is truce), amongst other divisions (that they had stipulated).
Instead of the classification common in his age, Ibn Taymiyya came up with a compound/composite classification by virtue of which civil strife amongst Muslims was averted, and their lives, wealth, and honor safeguarded, and justice amongst them and others established.
His fatwa is one that is exceptional in its formulation and that, to a large degree, addresses a similar context to our time, a political state of the world that is different from the one encountered by past jurists, and which had formed the basis for the particular way in which they had classified territories.
It is such a changed context that Ibn Taymiyya took into consideration when passing his fatwa, and that now makes it imperative that contemporary jurists review the classical classification, because of the changed contemporary situation: Muslims are now bound by international treaties through which security and peace have been achieved for the entire humanity, and in which they enjoy safety and security, with respect to their property, integrity and homelands. Consequently, Muslims are interacting with others in unprecedented ways: politically, socially and economically.
Contemporary jurists also need to review the classical classification of abodes because there is a real need for a sound Islamic and legal vision that does not violate Islamic religious texts, is in harmony with the higher objectives of the Shari‘ah, and engages our contemporary context. In light of the above, the participants presented and discussed research papers at the conference, and the following are the conclusions and recommendations reached:
First: Conclusions:
1. Ibn Taymiyya’s fatwa concerning Mardin can under no circumstances be appropriated and used as evidence for leveling the charge of kufr (unbelief) against fellow Muslims, rebelling against rulers, deeming game their lives and property, terrorizing those who enjoy safety and security, acting treacherously towards those who live (in harmony) with fellow Muslims or with whom fellow Muslims live (in harmony) via the bond of citizenship and peace. On the contrary, the fatwa deems all of that unlawful, not withstanding its original purpose of supporting a Muslim state against a non-Muslim state. Ibn Taymiyya agrees with all of this, and follows, the precedent of previous Muslim scholars in this regard, and does not deviate from their position. Anyone who seeks support from this fatwa for killing Muslims or non-Muslims has erred in his interpretation and has misapplied the revealed texts.
2. The classification of abodes in Islamic jurisprudence was a classification based on ijtihad (juristic reasoning) that was necessitated by the circumstances of the Muslim world, then and the nature of the international relations prevalent at that time. However, circumstances have changed now: The existence of recognized international treaties, which consider as crimes wars that do not involve repelling aggression or resisting occupation; the emergence of civil states which guarantee, on the whole, religious, ethnic and national rights, have necessitated declaring, instead, the entire world as a place of tolerance and peaceful co-existence between all religions, groups and factions in the context of establishing common good and justice amongst people, and wherein they enjoy safety and security with respect to their wealth, habitations and integrity. This is what the Shari‘ah has been affirming and acknowledging, and to which it has been inviting humanity, ever since the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) migrated to Madina and concluded the first treaty/peace agreement that guaranteed mutual and harmonious co-existence between the factions and various ethnic/race groups in a framework of justice and common/shared interest.
Shortcomings and breaches perpetrated by certain states that happen to scar and mar this process cannot and should not be used as a means for denying its validity and creating conflict between it and the Islamic Shari‘ah.
3. Amongst the priorities of Muslim scholars and Islamic academic
institutions should be the analysis and assessment of ideas that breed extremism, takfir (labeling fellow Muslims as unbelievers) and violence in the name of Islam. Security measures, no matter how fair and just they may happen to be, cannot take the place of an eloquent (scholarly) elucidation supported by proof and evidence. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the Ummah’s religious scholars to condemn all forms of violent attempts-to-change or violent protest, within, or outside, Muslim societies. Such condemnation must be clear, explicit, and be a true manifestation of real courage-in-speaking-the-truth, so as to eliminate any confusion or ambiguity.
4. Muslim scholars, throughout the ages, have always stressed and emphasized that the jihad that is considered the pinnacle of the religion of Islam, is not of one type, but of many, and actually fighting in the Path of God is only one type. The validation, authorization, and execution of this particular type of jihad is granted by the Shari‘ah to only those who lead the community (actual heads of states). This is because such a decision of war is a political decision with major repercussions and consequences. Hence, it is not for a Muslim individual or Muslim group to announce and declare war, or engage in combative jihad, whimsically and on their own. This restriction is vital for preventing much evil from occurring, and for truly upholding Islamic religious texts relevant to this matter.
5. The basis of the legitimacy of jihad is that it is either to repel/resist aggression (“Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for Allah loveth not transgressors” — Surah al-Baqarah, 190), or to aid those who are weak and oppressed (“And why should ye not fight in the cause of Allah and of those who, being weak, are ill-treated (and oppressed)?” — Surah al-Nisa’, 75), or in defense of he freedom of worshiping (“To those against whom war is made, permission is given (to fight), because they are wronged; — and verily, Allah is most powerful for their aid” — Surah al-Hajj, 39). It is not legitimate to declare war because of differences in religion, or in search of spoils of war.
6. The issue of fatwas in Islam is a serious one. It is for this reason that scholars have drawn up stringent conditions/requirements for the Mufti (the authority issuing fatwas). Of these conditions is that he must be fully qualified in scholarly learning/knowledge. Of the conditions specific to the fatwa itself is having established the proper object of application (manat) according to place, time, and person, circumstance, and consequence/future outcome.
7. The notion of loyalty and enmity (al-wala wa al-bara) must never be used to declare anyone out of the fold of Islam, unless an actual article of unbelief is held. In all other cases, it actually involves several types of judgement ranging according to the juridical five-fold scale: (permissible, recommended, not recommended, non-permissible, and required). Therefore, it is not permissible to narrow the application of this notion and use it for declaring a Muslim outside the fold of Islam.
Second: Recommendations:
The participants in the conference suggested the following recommendations:
- Convening an annual conference in Europe to research and explore, the Islamic conception of peace, and peaceful co-existence, between nations/communities and religions.
- Establishing the Mardin Center for Research in Islamic Political Theory.
- Creating research units and departments at Islamic universities and postgraduate institutions concerned with research, training, and qualifying of potential candidates, in the area of formulating and issuing fatwas on public issues pertaining to the entire Muslim Ummah.
- Encouraging theoretical and practical studies concerned with the historical conditions and circumstances affecting the issuing of religious edicts and opinions.
- Encouraging academic and scientific studies that focus on the historical circumstances and conditions in which the edicts of great scholars were issued in the past.
- Making more effort in revising, editing, and exploring the legacy of Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyya – may Allah have mercy on him – and the legacy of the exemplary scholars, with respect to their impact on the Muslim world and what is hoped to be gained from a sound and correct understanding of their respective legacies in terms of guiding and directing both the general public and specialists.
- Referring the declaration to the various fiqh (juridical) academies in the Muslim world for the purpose of enriching it, deepening discussion around it and extending its benefit (to a wider audience).
In conclusion, the organizers and participants wish to extend their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to all those who contributed to the success of the conference, and first and foremost amongst them the Governor of Mardin, the President of Artuklu University, and the Mufti of Mardin.
May God send his peace and salutation upon our master, Muhammad, his family and his Companions, and all Praise be to God through Whose bounty and favour righteous works are completed.

In a world filled with evil from which there can be no escape, monasticism offers a key to unlock the prison door. Why would someone waste his or her life in a monastery? Why would anyone waste his or her time in a world of sin?

Warmongers

Warmongers and what to do about them:
This is how U.S. foreign policy works these days: Israel is provided by the U.S. with the means to attack Iran. After Iran and Hezbollah respond and kill some of the American troops now stationed inside Israel to defend the "Jewish State", the U.S. would be "reluctantly" dragged into war by Israel. The U.S. could blame the Israelis or Iran. Who cares? It won't matter who lights the fuse. Russia and China would be dragged into a war to defend Iran and themselves. The world would be destroyed in WW III. Why would the Washington warmongers do this? They are corrupt and worse. They are really really stupid. The big winners would be the banksters and their friends who imagine they would preside over a much reduced world population of radioactive and starving serfs who would owe their lives to the new masters of the world. Them. The Master Race. The ancient regime would be restored. The U.S. was behind all those colour-coded "revolutions" in recent years. Remember the "Orange Revolution" in Ukraine? The United States has been spreading "freedom and democracy" since the Spanish American War. Of course Washington was spreading freedom and democracy when it defeated the American Indians and the Mexicans and the Guatemalans, Panamanians and Hondurans and then the Germans (twice) and the Japanese. Let's not forget Hawaii and China or Korea and Vietnam. Freedom and democracy and human rights is being spread in Iraq and Afghanistan too. The British used to spread civilization and Christianity. Helping people is the ticket to world domination. The people in Washington are criminally insane. They are stupid. They really think they can get away with their game of brinkmanship. As Rep. Ron Paul, R - Texas, says, "We are bankrupt." That is the key. A race is on to take over the world before the financial bubble bursts and it will. Soon. The Russians and Chinese could face down these idiots. The Chinese could stop buying American debt. Everyone could dump the dollar. The American people could revolt and put these morons out of business once and for all. People need to act to save themselves and the world. A tax revolt is needed. The 99% whose necks are on the block can withdraw support for their own destruction. Income Tax Day is coming. Tell them: "You can go to Hell. We aren't going there." Did I forget the Philippines? The Empire is always very busy. It is everywhere all the time. . .

An Ice Water Bath

by Morley Evans
Dear Mr. Neff,
Thank you for a bath of ice water to bring me to my senses. Of course the U.S.A. "is already a tyranny and a dictatorship" run by the security-industrial complex, Wall Street and the Israel lobby. It is not a matter of saving America or bad things will happen. Bad things are already here. They have been here for a long time. They are not just around the corner unless we act swiftly. Unlike Paul Craig Roberts, I do not believe everything was dandy when the Gipper was the POTUS (President of the United States) and supply-side economics saved us from economic disaster. Things did not turn sour only when the Neocons grabbed power under George W. Bush. People need to come to grips with the idea that the American Empire is just the British Empire with a new headquarters and a continental empire that is protected by a really big moat. The Empire wears an "anti-imperialist" mask that was created in 1776 so it can claim to champion freedom as it maintains hegemony over the world and dominion over its subjects who are necessary cannon fodder.
British history is American history. Imperial power is an unbroken chain.
The roots of the current pickle can be traced back, far back, back all the way to the times before 1776. In fact all the way back to 1763 when today's Empire established its world hegemony with the Seven Years' War. Its roots go even further back to 1066 when William the Conqueror moved Imperial headquarters across the big moat of the English Channel from Normandy to Saxon England. This is the Empire called Oceania by Orwell. We live here. This is our home. Voting for Rep. Ron Paul won't change 1,000 years of history. Ron Paul would not be allowed to change anything. At least Paul Craig Roberts recognizes that the new China policy of 2012 is the old Japan policy of 1938 — any country that rises to challenge the Empire's dominion must be stopped. It must be crushed. Nuclear weapons will be used along with anything worse that we have at hand.

Can the masses be awakened from the coma Madison Avenue creates or will everyone fight yet one more "good war"? Were I an American, I would not be voting, or fighting for the Empire. As a Canadian, I will do the same. Thank you, Mr. Neff.

The 20th Century engineered the transition of Imperial power from London to Washington/Wall Street. It was NOT about "saving the world for democracy and freedom," as advertised — which the activities of the Empire since 1945 prove unequivocally. Alas for Imperial aspirations, things have not gone well, though, and the end, after all these years, is at hand — for them (1%) or for us (99%).

We have all been reminded by Joseph Audie in The Last Ditch how wonderful we are. If for any reason you are feeling down, let Mr. Audie bring some cheer into your gloomy life with these inspirational words.

Mr. Audie addresses Americans but I would like to remind Canadians that American exceptionalism is surpassed — without being diminished in any way — only by Canadian smugness.
So put on a happy face! Three cheers for us!!

Slaying the Sky Dragon

All this warm weather got me wondering again about Global Warming and all those nice folks who are employed in the Global Warming Industry from the IPCC to the University of Regina. So yesterday I bought SLAYING THE SKY DRAGON: Death of the Greenhouse Gas Theory. Here's a review that is just out:
http://wattsupwiththat.com/2010/11/29/new-book-slaying-the-sky-dragon/
http://wattsupwiththat.com/2010/11/29/new-book-slaying-the-sky-dragon/
Since mathematics is as foreign to me as Japanese, I have to fall back on simple logic: First, the earth warms up. Second, plants increase because plants grow better when it is warm. (Most people in Saskatchewan have noticed that plant growth outside is fairly slow in January.) Third, plants produce CO2 as part of what plants do to live. Fourth, a record of increased CO2 remains in glaciers when the earth returns to its usual frosty normal condition. Researchers looking at the ice record of warm and cool periods get cause and effect reversed and conclude that CO2 caused the earth to warm up. It's an honest mistake that anyone could make. The Big Question is why does the earth cool after it has been warmed by CO2? Global temperature should keep rising until oceans boil. Then What?
No wonder no one pays me for my opinions. They'd all be outta business! There would be no classrooms filled with kiddies slavishly hanging on your every word, no cushy salary, no tenure, no clubby faculty of geniuses just like you, no sabbatical in the Greek Islands to do research and publish scholarly books, no grants, no indexed pensions, no government positions and no hysterical mobs rioting to save the world. WTF? OMG!

Chris Hedges: "Brace yourself! The American Empire is over and the descent is going to be horrifying." The history of mankind, since the advent of state-level civilization has been a tiny élite lording it over everyone else. Hedges thinks a race is on to re-establish the ancient order and return things to their former condition, erasing any gains that have been made by some (the Middle Class) in the last two hundred years. Civil disobedience such as the Occupy Movement is all that is left that could save us from a new totalitarian feudalism, Hedges thinks. Hedges believes in Global Warming, but his other views are worth hearing.

Death by Medicine

Many thanks to Dr. Joseph Mercola. Don't be fooled by Canadian propaganda. Things are worse in Canada, not better. Canadians are just better than Americans at covering things up. Canadians are satisfied with "Aren't you lucky that things like that don't happen here?" Canadians don't want to know the truth, which, in itself, is more damning than this video. Keeping Canadians slumbering in a coma continues to work well for the people who run things in Canada who say, "We do such a great job!"

Dr. Malcolm Kendrick, M.D. and others have demonstrated that there is no connection between cholesterol and cardiovascular disease. "None at all." Does this mean you can eat and do anything you want without any fear? No, that is not what it means. What does it mean, then? What should you eat and do?
First, it means that the greatest risk to your health and well-being is your doctor and the rest of the pharmaceutical industry including agribusiness that creates the food we eat and insurance companies and governments that pay for the medical care we buy. Doctors promote nostrums whose raison d'être is making money for themselves and the pharmaceutical companies, not your health and welfare. They really could not care less about you. Don't believe it? Just challenge them and you will find out how much they care. They will choose money over you every time. This is a very serious charge, but they are silent because they have no answer. They are protected. They don't have to answer. This is organized crime.
Second, it means that you need to learn and live by listening to the people who have been arresting and reversing cardiovascular disease, cancer, diabetes, obesity, chronic fatigue, chronic pain, insomnia, multiple sclerosis and addiction to alcohol and drugs. Who could these miracle workers be and why don't you know about them?
You don't know about them because you are brainwashed by the "free press" which is owned by such interests as the pharmaceutical industry. Take a look at who is paying for what you watch and read, the advertisers: He who pays the fiddler chooses the songs he plays as well as the songs he doesn't play.
A long — and growing — list of responsible medical doctors who care about their patients has broken free of the pharmaceutical industry and its billions. They have joined other health professionals to say what conventional medicine has always said: "You are what you eat."
Eat mostly (or perhaps exclusively) fruits and vegetables with some grains, seeds and nuts. Sparingly eat animal products or avoid them altogether. Avoid sugar, sweeteners and processed food. Eat fresh, organic, locally grown and raw. Hydrate by drinking lots of pure water, at least 8 glasses a day and more if you exercise strenuously. Get exposure to sunshine. Let simplicity be your guide.
Modern man suffers from a deficiency of micronutrients and phytochemicals as well as the toxicity and inactivity that comes with modern living. Stress kills. This all creates chronic malnutrition.

If you live north of the 40th North Parallel, you are seriously challenged. Nothing you eat grows eight months (or less) of the year where you live. Here is Dr. Malcolm Kendrick explaining, again, that cholesterol has nothing to do with cardiovascular disease (CVD), heart attacks, strokes and other diseases of the circulatory system. Despite this, everyone believes cholesterol is a deadly hazard to health. Everyone knows that is true. Everyone from your grocer to your doctor to the friendly folks who sell Statin drugs to lower cholesterol. They have made gazillions of dollars selling cholesterol lowering drugs. They have changed the food industry world-wide. Everyone is on a Statin drug, yet "heart disease" continues to be the Number One Killer in a neck and neck race to death with Cancer. The benefit of this nonsense is Zero — except to the pharmaceutical industry of course — while the cost to everyone is enormous. People suffer and die while "conventional" medical costs soar, bankrupting families and even governments.
