Vitamin D3
© MMIX v.1.0.6
Dr. Mercola will tell you that medical science has learned, only in the last 10 years, that Vitamin D3 may be the single most important nutrient. (This does not discount the value of all the other nutrients we require every day.) Vitamin D3, medical research has recently learned, is a hormone that regulates over 2,000 genes (about 10% of the human genome). There are only two sources of Vitamin D3: sunshine and fish oils. Vitamin D2, based on studies done 70 years ago on Rickets, is added to milk and other food. D2 does not provide benefits equivalent to D3.
Everyone who lives in the northern latitudes is challenged and most of us, it is now understood, are Vitamin D3 deficient because we do not get enough sunshine. Most of us live and work indoors even in the summer. Eskimos, who live in the high Arctic, formerly got their Vitamin D3 from fish oils and they got their "fruits and vegetables" from eating the partially digested contents of Caribou stomachs. Humans cannot digest lichens and grasses, Caribou can. Yum. Eskimos once lived in igloos and got lots of exercise, mostly walking. Today they live in suffocatingly over-heated houses, eat Pizza Pops, drive around on Skidoos and watch TV. They drink whisky and gets lots of sugar too. In other words, Eskimos (now called "Inuit") are just like the rest of us. Eskimos have lived in the high Arctic for hundreds of thousands of years, but today they are in trouble. Eskimos need better nutrition and more exercise.
SO DO WE!
A modern gymnasium is a critical component of modern living because we have cleverly developed ways to almost totally eliminate physical exertion from our lives! Only astronauts have been able to outdo everyone else by eliminating gravity too. Gold's Gym® provides me with two of the important things that everyone needs: exercise and sunshine in the Hex II sun booths. http://www.goldsgymregina.com/south/index
Here is Dr. Mercola on Vitamin D3: http://products.mercola.com/vitamin-d-spray/?source=nl
Dr. Mercola recommends accurate testing because how much Vitamin D individuals have in their blood varies widely even when they are (orally) consuming exactly the same amount. (The body automatically stops making Vitamin D when it has enough when sunlight on the skin is the source.) Dr. Mercola recommends a world-wide epidemiological study http://www.grassrootshealth.net. I am enrolled. My Vitamin D3 level is 65 ng/ml. I take 2,000 IU a day plus HEX II sunshine every other day. I exercise for two hours thee times a week.
I can personally testify how important Vitamin D3 has been to me. I had severe chronic asthma from age 4 to age 25 when Dr. Carl Reich, an Internist in Calgary, prescribed Vitamin D3 and other nutrients. My asthma disappeared after the first dose! Asthma only returned when other doctors persuaded me to stop taking Vitamin D3 because they thought it was dangerous. When my asthma returned, I would stop taking the nostrums they had prescribed and I would resume taking Vitamin D3. My asthma always disappeared immediately. I smoked a pack a day for a total of 36 years and I have no ill effects from that today. Zero.
Vitamin D3 is important. Important too are the thousands of other essential nutrients found in whole foods, as well as good water, fresh air, sleep, exercise, and, yes, true religion. My plan is to live another sixty years and then die in perfect health. So far, so good!

Copenhagden Climate Summit 2009
© MMIX 2009 V.1.0.4
The recent Climate Summit in Copenhagen is proof positive that people are a herd that can be stampeded this way and that. Masses of people are no different than buffalo herds on the Great Plains of North America which Indians, who were on foot, could stampede over cliffs. The fall would kill otherwise formidable beasts which the Indians could never catch or overpower. Such places were colorfully named with "Head All Smashed In" and the like. Wolves also knew how to manage the herds of great beasts.
And so it is with people.
Our leaders are like the Indians. We peons are like the buffalo herd. Our leaders are wolves in sheep clothing who gain our confidence by promising to look after our interests. Then, when our guard is down, they stampede us over a cliff. At the bottom, our carcasses can be butchered to feed our leaders and their friends. Or we are left to rot.
That assessment is not cynical. That is reality. That is how it is. That is how it has always been.
The climate is driven by the sun. Winter and summer occur because the earth is tilted slightly and the earth is closer and farther away from the sun at various times on its orbit. In winter months, the earth is farther away from the sun and it is colder than in summer months. One orbit around the sun takes a year. Night is darker and colder than day because the earth rotates on its axis. It takes the earth one day to rotate once.
When the sun is more active and it has spots that are exceptionally hot, the earth is warmer. When the sun is less active and there are no sun spots, the earth is cooler. There currently are no sun spots and the earth is getting colder.
When the earth is warmer, plants grow. Plants release carbon dioxide. When the earth has been warmer for thousands of years, the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere increases. When the earth is cooler for thousands of years the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere decreases. Plants do not grow in the winter.
You can check it out for yourself. Step outside and walk around.
That is how it is. That is how it has been for billions of years. That is how things are going to be for billions of years to come.
"Scientists", like Al Gore and David Suzuki, tell "Chicken Little" stories that do not reflect this. They profit at our expense. They are like the Indians. We are like the buffalo. The earth may be here for billions of years more, but mankind might be exterminated by people who don't even understand simple cause and effect.
That is how it is.

Charles Krauthammer
© MMIX V.1.0.2
Dear Roland,
Thanks for the note on Charles Krauthammer's views on Barack Obama. Please note this:
Along with his many accomplishments (he is so brilliant), Charles Krauthammer is a Zionist. He is a neo-con. He supports The State of "Israel" and its 130-year-long war on the people of Palestine in particular and Muslims in general. Dr. Charles Krauthammer and Dr. Henry Kissinger are peas in a pod who support Republicans, the Bush Administration, the U.S. Empire and its unrelenting lust for total and complete world domination forever. That is why he is on FOX. Everything Krauthammer says about Barack Obama is true. Obama is continuing the Presidency of George W. Bush. (Just as Nixon continued the Presidency of Johnson.) Obama and Bush are peas in a pod. Obama and Bush are front-men for Wall Street and the Pentagon which actually run the U.S. Empire and always have. Obama's biggest financial donor was Goldman Sachs not millions of suckers who contributed nickels and dimes on the Internet. There is no difference between the Republicans and the Democrats. The differences that political commentators like Krauthammer blather about on Sunday morning TV talk shows are for the boobs who think that Presidents like Obama, Bush, Clinton, Bush, Reagan, Carter, Ford, Nixon, Johnson and the rest work for them. THEY DON'T. John F. Kennedy forgot who he worked for and we know what happened to him. There is no mystery about the assassination at all.
The mad spending that Krauthammer blames on Obama was started by Bush as were the current wars. Fortunately for all of us, the U.S. Empire is finished along with the U.S. dollar. If we can avoid being incinerated by the madmen in Washington for a little while longer, we can expect a fairly bright future for a long time. "Have faith. Peace on earth and goodwill to men." That has been the message for mankind for thousands of years.
Merry Christmas!

Keeping It Secret
© MMIX V.1.0.6
When denying revisionist history — history that challenges official history — it is often claimed that it is impossible to keep a secret. Someone would spill the beans, eventually. When large numbers are involved, the problem worsens. Therefore, the official history must be accurate because it involves many and has been examined by many.
That makes sense. But is it true?
It is not true. Have you ever tried to have something changed that you know to be incorrect? Your newspaper may have put an incorrect story on the front page with a big black headline. Under pressure, it may print a retraction which it will put on a back page — if it is decided that it must. The media might choose to make you into a buffoon. But usually, the media will simply ignore you.
Many credible scientists today, do not believe the official story about 9/11. Some have published exhaustive studies. They are simply ignored but they can be found on the Internet by anyone, anywhere, who connects.
"Global Warming" also known as "climate change" today, is broadcast as being "supported by the world-wide scientific community." Yet the majority does not support anthropomorphic climate change, many say. Sun spots, alone, explain climate change perfectly well, some scientists say. They do not claim, however, that pollution is not a problem, only that the direction being taken will solve nothing. But those scientists are ignored. They are the silent majority. They are silent because they do not have the megaphone. Instead university grants go to "researchers" who support "Global Warming" and Al Gore is awarded a Nobel Prize.
What is popular may not be true. Large numbers of believers do not make something true.
Barack Obama has been awarded a Nobel Peace Prize. What? Obama is running two major wars and he threatens more. Everything we are told about the Middle East is questionable. Most of it is an outright bald-faced lie told to the masses by the liars who own the monopoly media.
Examples abound. In fact, most things that people are told are demonstrably untrue. These are big important things that really matter. Modern "well informed" people are the worst informed when they get their information from the World Wide Mind Control System (the monopoly media writ large). Tribesmen in the Amazon or New Guinea are better informed than most of us. Eskimos (now called "Inuit") once would qualify as being better informed. Today, they watch TV.
People who control what large numbers are told, control what large numbers think. Such people have great power. Every person has to think for himself. Ask yourself what is more important in affecting climate change, the sun or the exhaust from your car? Do you think your car causes summer and winter? Did we have summer and winter before we had cars? The hypothesis that CO2 (A.K.A. "carbon") causes global warming is ridiculous — yet charlatans, world-wide, are cashing in on this idea. Taxation causes "global warming" because tax dollars fund the propagation of bunk.
For 500 years, it was believed that Pizarro and a tiny group of intrepid conquistadores conquered the Inca Empire. It has recently been revealed that the Inca were not very popular and that Pizarro and the Spanish sparked a revolt. The majority rose up against the Inca and the Spanish took over and took all the credit for themselves. Records of the history, that were written at the time, have existed in monasteries in Chile all these centuries. The conquest of the Aztec in Mexico was exactly the same, but there, it has long been known that the Indians helped defeat the Aztec.
The majority believe that people with power can be trusted, especially when they are our "leaders" and they have been elected by a majority. They cannot be trusted.

Unthinkable
© MMIX V.1.0.9
I like your letter to the newspaper; it's the main theme of my next book, if it's published.
But who's saying: "CONSIDER it is Washington that started WW I (1914-1918)" ? Where does that crazy idea come from?
Bob
Dear Bob,
It does seem implausible that the United States could have had anything to do with starting World War One, I agree.
Everyone knows the Germans did it.
After all, it was the United States that had reluctantly joined the First World War in 1916 — and only after being provoked by the Germans who tried to get Mexico to invade the United States. Americans had saved the world in WW I. America also saved the foolish warring parties who had nearly destroyed themselves. It was the evil French and British who then forced the Treaty of Versailles onto the Germans. The noble U.S. President, Woodrow Wilson, with his "fourteen points", set in motion the creation of the League of Nations to ensure world peace. But the unjust armistice and people who had not learned their lesson ensured that war would soon resume.
Then it was the wise and temperate Americans again who reluctantly joined the Second World War in December 1941 to save the world from the wicked fascists who had emerged from who knows where to threaten the peace and well-being of the world. More American lives and treasure would have to be spent so everyone could live in peace and safety.
It was the Japanese militarists who had attacked Pearl Harbor one quiet Sunday morning as Americans slept peacefully minding their own business. The United States, under the fearless guidance of Mr. Roosevelt ("The only thing we have to fear is fear itself."), had to rearm to save the world again. Well. Wise Americans under "the buck stops here" President Harry S. Truman, set up the United Nations and selflessly gave the UN a home in the world's most important city, New York.
The hope of the world was that we would all enjoy peace forevermore. But no, the wicked communists immediately emerged as implacable enemies who threatened world peace in their efforts to enslave all.
Mr. Truman, who had dropped the A-bombs on the fanatical Japanese to end the War and save millions of lives, now was forced to save starving Germans in Berlin from the psychotic Stalin. Then Truman had to save the South Koreans and their democracy from the bloodthirsty North Koreans and from Chairman Mao who had taken over China — driving out our democratic ally Chiang Kai-sheck who had been leading the Chinese into freedom from the tyranny of the Chinese Empire and the War Lords.
Most of us are aware of the tragedy of Vietnam that was caused by the communists in South East Asia after United States ships had been attacked in the Gulf of Tonkin. And now the world must be saved from the machinations of the Taliban and Al-Queda which have emerged from the nefarious shadow-world of Islam. As everyone knows, agents of Al-Qaeda hijacked four jet liners and attacked the World Trade Center and the Pentagon itself. Thousands died. It was worse than Pearl Harbor.
Casting our eyes back we "Remember the Maine" which was blown up by the Spanish Empire, forcing the United States into the Spanish-American War. And before that, Generalissimo Santa Anna had declared war on the freedom-loving Texans who had moved into that Mexican territory from Kentucky and Tennessee. Then Mexico had provoked war with the United States which was forced to fight what is called in the United States, the Mexican War: California, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Utah, and Nevada were liberated.
The unblemished record of the United States in helping the people of the Caribbean, Central America, South America, Africa and even Hawaii is well known, so we need not elaborate here.
Going back even farther we find that George Washington had been captured by the French while he and a brigade of the Virginia militia under Washington's command were scouting in Ohio. This incident lit the fuse that would set off the Seven Years' War (which was a world war and is known as the French and Indian War in the United States). Immediately following that, King George III and the British Empire forbade American colonists from moving west of the Appalachians. The King raised taxes and started the War of Independence — which he lost to people who wanted to be free.
One can see that the United States of America has always been spreading peace and freedom to the benighted souls of the earth and it has never fired a shot in anger unless it has first been provoked and attacked. It is just impossible to imagine that the First World War could possibly have been started by Washington which didn't even have a real intelligence organization until the CIA was set up, in self defense, after WW II to counteract communism.
Americans could not have been involved with the Black Hand in Serbia before the assassination of Austrian Archduke Ferdinand and his wife the Duchess Sophia. Americans would not have even known where Serbia is. Americans would have been peacefully tending their farms just like Sergeant York in the movie starring Gary Cooper (1941). It would be unthinkable. It must have been the Germans — or possibly the Russians or the British.
Of course, suggestions that the CIA and other American secret services are behind assassinations and suicide bombings here and there today are scurrilous lies. They are unimaginable. They are unthinkable.

Patience and Reward
© MMIX V.1.0.9
There was no bigger fan of the United States of America than I was before 9/11. I was still a fan until the real George W. Bush emerged from the shadows to declare war on "Al-Qaeda", the imaginary enemy that threatens all from the shadow world of Islam. Remember Mullah Omar and the "shoe-bomber"? They were terrifying. Ooooh.
Where is Osama bin Laden, the leader of Al-Qaeda? Nobody has seen or heard from him for years. Many say he died in hospital long ago. Periodically, the media broadcasts a statement from "Osama" that terrifies the yokels and encourages them to have their sons and daughters sign up to fight for our freedom.
Like many, I owe George W. Bush a big thank you for opening my eyes and waking me up. Thanks too for the Internet — which was created by the U.S. military. The Internet made possible my subsequent education.
One never knows who one will have to thank.
Did Bush, the younger, and his neocons turn the United States into something it was not before?
It is certainly true that the U.S. military of the 19th century, before the Civil War, was much smaller than it has grown to be since the Second World War. But it takes time and patience to build a colossus. Napoleon was much too hasty. Most would agree that Napoleon was over-confident. Napoleon was quickly undone by the Russian winter and the British Empire. Washington was smarter.
Washington was patient. Its plan would take centuries, not years or even decades. You can believe history is all an accident if you wish and write off everything but the official history as "conspiracy theory" but the results are what they are and no one can deny that politicos make definite plans to achieve definite ends or that they conspire to achieve them.
The United States was Napoleon's ally which made sense because France had been Great Britain's perennial enemy for centuries and French assistance had been critical in winning the Revolutionary War. The United States became the somewhat junior partner of the British Empire after the War of 1812. The U.S. consolidated its continental empire in the 19th century at the expense of the Indians and Mexico. The British Empire continued colonizing the rest of the world. The United States opened the 20th century with its pal, the British Empire: The British fought the Boer War while the U.S. fought the Spanish-American War, which gave Washington global reach with a nice Pacific base in the Philippines. At the end of the Great War (WW I), almost all the old empires had been destroyed (German, Austro-Hungarian, French, Russian, Chinese, Ottoman). Only the British Empire and the U.S. Empire remained along with the small Dutch, Portuguese and Belgian empires and the Empire of Japan. The Second World War finished off everyone but the U.S.A. We should entertain the possibility that this was not an accident.
After the Great Victory of '45 we should have enjoyed peace, but peace would be bad if your business is war and your goal is total and complete world domination forever.
Fortunately for Washington, the U.S.S.R. immediately emerged as an enemy. It was soon joined by the People's Republic of China. This permitted Washington to continue building its military to defend the "free world" which was everybody but the commies. A standing army requires enemies. A military-industrial complex requires war.
The Empire of Japan was gone in 1945, along with the Third Reich. The British Empire was gone with Indian Independence in 1947. China was lost in 1949. The U.S.S.R. "fought" the Cold War and was bankrupt and gone in 1991. With Mao gone in 1976, China morphed to become the "shop floor of the world" and manufactured everything for everyone (learning from the Japanese they sell high quality goods for low, low prices).
With all of its enemies gone, the neocons felt the United States had won the long battle to become the master of the world, but the world had changed. The game was over and they didn't know it. They still don't know and the stands are empty. Everyone has gone home. How dumb is that? Will the United States go the way of all the other empires? We'll have to wait a little longer to find out, but today it looks as if it will — the United States is bankrupt and irrelevant. "We can kill everyone!" So?
Washington will likely think it is still important for decades to come. The French thought they still had an empire until Algeria won its independence in 1962. The British still think they are important with Queen Elizabeth II still living like Queen Victoria and living better than Queen Elizabeth I.
Yet time has passed them by.

Pearl Harbor 1941
© MMIX V.1.0.1
December 7, 1941 is emblazoned in our memories because that was the day of the dastardly sneak attack on the U.S. naval station that peacefully slumbered at Pear Harbor that Sunday morning 68 years ago. Even people who had not been born know about this event because it has been celebrated all these years in film and story. "From Here to Eternity" with Burt Lancaster and Deborah Kerr is one best movies ever made and only one of many stories shaping our opinions.
Few wonder why we are constantly reminded of something that was done to us, but we are rarely reminded of anything we did to them. "They started it, so we were only defending ourselves," is what we are supposed to conclude. Few know that U.S. Naval Intelligence was reading — and sending to the White House — all the Japanese military ciphers long before Pearl Harbor. The Japanese certainly never guessed that.
At the time, President Roosevelt's critics said they could smell a rat. Years of research into American military archives has revealed that they were right. The Japanese were maneuvered into becoming America's enemy: the Pacific fleet was stationed in Hawaii, in the middle of the Pacific and half-way to Japan against Admiral Richardson's protest. Admiral Richardson was fired and replaced with Admiral Kimmel who was joined by General Short. They had both been promoted ahead of their superiors to command the Pacific fleet and army. The Japanese were boxed in and provoked by Washington — which failed to warn the Pearl Harbor commanders of the attack. Kimmel and Short were then cashiered for dereliction.
Even when people admit that is what happened, they respond that these machinations had been justified to overcome the "isolationists" who were keeping the United States out of the war. If the United States had not saved the world, Hitler would have won, don't you see? Moreover, dropping Atom-bombs on Japanese civilians had been necessary to end the war and save millions of lives. Peace and saving lives is what WW II was all about. We do good. We are good.
The Empire of Japan was used to eliminate the British and Dutch empires from the western Pacific leaving the U.S. Empire as the master of the Pacific and the world — yet things have not turned out quite as one would expect. This often happens in the Japanese board game GO.

Standing Army
© MMIX V.1.0.9
The Constitution of the United States of America, Second Amendment, prohibits the establishment of a standing army. So where did all this — the largest military that man has ever created — come from? It can be traced to the Civil War which created a standing army, necessitating perpetual war to justify its existence. The Civil War eliminated States Rights which eliminated the United States and created the United State by centralizing power in Washington. Along with these items, out the door went Habeas Corpus and a host of other things fundamental to liberty. There were also a number of things necessary for military expansion such as machine guns, submarines, iron clad ships, espionage, railroads, sappers, snipers, naval blockades, arial surveillance of the battlefield, concentration camps, private security companies, propaganda, the military-industrial complex, greenback dollars and total war to destroy all means of resistance. Most notable were unprecedented casualties: 700,000 military casualties alone — civilian casualties were not counted. True to American myth-making, it soon became generally accepted that the Civil War had been necessary to free the slaves. Yet, the slaves would have to wait another century before their freedom would be won by lawyers not soldiers. The South would be colonized with military bases during Reconstruction. Those bases are still there over one hundred years later. Bases and military recruits from the South have become permanent fixtures of the South. Let's not forget that the North and the West and the world have been similarly colonized by Washington.
Not everything was invented by Americans and some things were not new, but most were new and Americans brought to everything American ingenuity. Americans excel at munitions. The rest of the world came to learn these new things during the Civil War. They would be put to use in the coming century. Washington usually plays two countries or alliances against each other. The Civil War played two sides of the United States against each other. As usual, Washington picked up all the marbles at the end of its "divide and conquer" game.
"One must understand the Civil War if one is to understand the United States." Indeed.

liberation

The United States is founded upon the notion that it liberates people from tyranny and that it must defend the bastion of liberty it has created for free people from tyrants who have always dominated mankind. To this end, the United States has been waging war on the rest of the world for its entire history. This Napoleonic mission was not created by Napoleon. It was created by the United States which came into existence before Napoleon [and before the French Revolution]. Americans need to take a look at what Washington has been doing all these years and what they have been asked to do on Washington's behalf. Americans may come to the shocking realization that the United States is not the world's moral leader and it never was the world's moral leader. Washington is just another tyrant and it has always been just another tyrant. Washington has been building its domination of the world since the Spanish-American War in 1898. The history of the 20th century is the history of the U.S. Empire.

True: Consider that the main reason Israel exists is to be the bad guy in the Middle East, so the United States can play the good guy. The United States has been playing off one side against the other for hundreds of years while it presents itself — and thinks of itself — as the innocent onlooker. The United States comes in to restore order when all else has failed. Then it picks up all the marbles at the end of the game. It is best to think of the Middle East in particular and the world in general as Kabuki theatre or professional wrestling where the sport is fake and the activity is real and "the story" is the sport. From Washington's point of view, strife and turmoil are always everybody else's fault. Yet close examination consistently reveals the United States is the main reason for the strife and turmoil.
CONSIDER it is Washington that started WW I (1914-1918) and Washington that started the Seven Years' War (1754-1763), the American Revolution (1775-1783), the War of 1812 (1812-1815), Texas independence (1836), the Mexican-American War (1846-1848), the Civil War (1861-1865), all the Indian Wars (1622-1918), as well as the Great Depression (1929-1941), WW II (1939-1945), the Korean War (1950-1953), the Wars in Vietnam (1959-1975), Persian Gulf War One (1990-1991), Afghanistan (2001-present), Iraq (2003-present). Washington is the common denominator in all these wars some of which began even before Washington, itself, existed. The Great Depression was not a war, you say? It was a war on the American people to consolidate Washington's power and to prepare Americans to fight the Second World War.
The main purpose of the events of the Twentieth Century was to transfer power from London where it had been safe for centuries to Washington and its continental empire where it would be even safer. Fearless leaders like General Curtis LeMay would be safe inside Cheyenne Mountain behind thick steel vault doors when the world was incinerated in a thermonuclear holocaust. The leaders of the "free world" would then be safe to again lead us peons who survived when the smoke cleared and the radiation subsided. The transfer was done by 1945 when the senior partner, Great Britain, became the junior partner. The American Revolution was completed at last. The transfer was necessary because advantages were being lost as other powers were catching up to the world hegemond. Today, all that remains are military advantages. These military advantages are rapidly becoming irrelevant as they bankrupt the U.S.A. which is going the way of the Soviet Union.
One is forced to conclude that the U.S.A. is the greatest force for evil that has ever been created. We already live in a world of endless war. We are already lead by a gang of war-mongering psychopaths. Does anyone else in history have a record that looks like that of the U.S.A.? Has anyone else ever created a standing army run by something like the Pentagon?

Cholesterol and Cancer
© MMIX V.1.0.1
I did not know that people with high cholesterol levels have a reduced risk of getting cancer. Did you? All I have ever seen or heard is that cholesterol is bad. But here is an essay by Dr. Malcolm Kendrick with the statement that high cholesterol is associated with low cancer as well as other risks for mortality. This is in his essay about the abuse of science and the corruption of medicine in general and medical journals in particular by pharmaceutical companies with big money.

STATINS AND CANCER - (NOW IT IS GETTING SILLY)
By Red Flags Columnist, Dr. Malcolm Kendrick
I was not sure whether to even bother responding to the latest news that statins prevent breast cancer. But I think I must, as I believe we are now entering very dangerous ground with statins. We are moving beyond accentuating the positive towards a total distortion of the facts. Over the last year or so, I have seen articles stating that statins prevent Alzheimer’s, prostate cancer, heart failure and now breast cancer. I have seen, and groaned.
"When we looked at statin use prior to breast cancer, what we found was that users of statins were 51 per cent less likely to develop breast cancer as opposed to those who were not using a statin," Dr Khurana said.
How, you may ask, can this be true when the latest TNT study, CARE, J-LIT, ASCOT-LLA and other too numerous to mention seemed to show a significant trend towards increased cancer in those taking statins.
The answer is that these studies are not mutually contradictory – just the way they are interpreted. Dr Khurana’s study was not a placebo controlled clinical trial. He, and his team, merely looked at forty thousand women, and found that those given statins were less likely to have breast cancer.
He decided to interpret this as possible proof that statins protect against cancer. But there are three possible explanations for this finding:
· Chance
· Statins protect against breast cancer
· Women given statins were less likely to get breast cancer in the first place
Explanation one is possible, but uninteresting. Explanation two would contradict many of the statin trails, where rates of cancer were higher in those taking statins. Ergo, it seems unlikely to be correct.
Explanation three, however, fits what is already known about cholesterol levels, statins and cancer risk. Firstly, we know that those given statins will have higher cholesterol levels than those not given statins. Secondly, study after study has shown that people with high cholesterol levels are at a greatly reduced risk of cancer.
You may have seen the study in Geriatrics earlier this year demonstrating that, in the elderly, a low cholesterol level was associated with a doubled risk of death – from all causes - especially cancer. A much, much bigger study was done in Austria, looking at cholesterol levels vs. risk of death. One hundred and fifty thousand people were studied over fifteen years.
‘In men, across the entire age range, although of borderline significance under the age of 50, and in women from the age of 50 onward only, low cholesterol was significantly associated with all-cause mortality, showing significant associations with death through cancer, liver diseases, and mental diseases.’
So, we give statins to a group of women who – because they have high cholesterol levels – are at a significantly reduced risk of cancer. When they are found to have a lower risk of cancer on statins, we claim that statins reduce the risk of cancer.
We then receive large sums of money from statin manufacturing company X. We then become a respected international opinion leader. We are then asked to sit on committees making up guidelines on the prevention of heart disease. We then act as peer-reviewers for journals so that when someone writes a letter such as the one below, written to the NEJM – we can reject it.
TO THE EDITOR: La Rosa et al.(1) claim to have shown significant clinical benefit from 80mg of atorvastatin per day compared with 10mg per day. The clinical benefits claimed were solely in selected cardiovascular end points. There was no increase in overall survival since there were more deaths from malignancies and other fatal conditions. For every malignancy that was fatal, or other condition that proved fatal, many more malignancies or other potentially fatal conditions must have been diagnosed. The morbidity from serious non-cardiac conditions is never considered in studies of statins where there is no increase in survival with treatment.
Exchanging a cardiac death for the prolonged misery of death from a malignancy or from another fatal condition can hardly be claimed to be a clinical benefit. The purveyors of the statins need to look with more objectivity at the overall effects of those agents. Even when there is an apparently impressive increase in overall survival, the real gains are negligible (2).

Cholesterol
© MMIX V.1.0.2
Here's what Wikipedia says about cholesterol. Anyone can find this in one second on the Web.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cholesterol
Cholesterol is a lipidic, waxy steroid found in the cell membranes and transported in the blood plasma of all animals.[2] It is an essential component of mammalian cell membranes, where it is required to establish proper membrane permeability and fluidity. In addition, cholesterol is an important precursor molecule for the biosynthesis of bile acids, steroid hormones, and several fat-soluble vitamins. Cholesterol is the principal sterol synthesized by animals, but small quantities are synthesized in other eukaryotes, such as plants and fungi. It is almost completely absent among prokaryotes, which include bacteria.[3]
The name cholesterol originates from the Greek chole- (bile) and stereos (solid), and the chemical suffix -ol for an alcohol, as François Poulletier de la Salle first identified cholesterol in solid form in gallstones, in 1769. However, it was only in 1815 that chemist Eugène Chevreul named the compound "cholesterine".[4]
Overview
Since cholesterol is essential for all animal life, it is primarily synthesized from simpler substances within the body. However, high levels in blood circulation, depending on how it is transported within lipoproteins, are strongly associated with progression of atherosclerosis. For a person of about 68 kg (150 pounds), typical total body cholesterol synthesis is about 1 g (1,000 mg) per day, and total body content is about 35 g. Typical daily additional dietary intake, in the United States and societies with similar dietary patterns, is 200–300 mg. The body compensates for cholesterol intake by reducing the amount synthesized.
Cholesterol is recycled. It is excreted by the liver via the bile into the digestive tract. Typically about 50% of the excreted cholesterol is reabsorbed by the small bowel back into the bloodstream. Intestinal tract absorption is highly selective for cholesterol, excreting plant stanols and sterols (which promote atherosclerosis progression more than cholesterol), back into the intestinal lumen for elimination.
The Big Question
My own serum cholesterol is extremely high (9.5 mmol/L or 366.7 mg/dL) yet I do not have any of the problems supposedly associated with this "condition". Why not? I was tortured for eight years and then almost killed when they lowered my cholesterol. Of course no one wants to know about this.

OUT of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds and shall find me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

Fort Hood Massacre
© MMIX v.1.0.1
Of course, Nidal Hasan is insane and his insanity was doubtless cultivated by his religion [whatever that might be]. Hasan finally resorted to violence. Shocking, but not surprising. So what about the ten or fifteen thousand soldiers at Fort Hood, TX? Are they there to meditate on the gospel? Is peace and love their main preoccupation? Well actually, no. Fort Hood is their final stop before they are sent off to kill and maim people in Iraq and Afghanistan and Pakistan and someday soon Iran. They wear uniforms, march around, shoot at targets, undergo indoctrination, learn how to inflict pain and death, and follow orders as they do their best to become homicidal maniacs. At least that is what their trainers would like most. Hasan wanted to get out of the Army. Doubtless, many other soldiers want to get out of the Army. But they will all go off to "do their duty" anyway.
Who is crazy here?

RE: eye surgery
Dear Dr. García,
You operated to repair a small retinal tear at the top of my right eye on 28 July of this year. I want to thank you for the time and attention you gave me. I have had some very bad experiences with doctors here in Regina. You are head and shoulders above them, I am pleased to say.
I just now posted an evaluation at www.RateMDs.com.
“In July 2009, Dr. Garcia repaired a small tear in my retina after a referral by Dr. Giocoli, my optometrist. I had a short wait of only a few days before seeing Dr. Garcia. I found his clinic excellent, clean and well-managed. Surgery went very well. Dr. Garcia and his assistant took time to very carefully examine my eye during the post-op examination a month after surgery. I wish some other doctors I have endured here in Regina were up to Dr. Garcia's standards. He could give them some lessons.”
Some other comments on that site criticize you for not being warm and charming. The doctors who caused me so much trouble were warm and charming. You have nothing to learn from them.
Sincerely,
- Morley Evans

Turning Point
©MMIX V.1.0.7
Medicine may be at a turning point today similar to where it was at the beginning of the 20th century. Back then, most doctors were reluctant to accept that germs had anything to do with illness. They fought the idea. Doctors would go from the autopsy table to the delivery room without even washing their hands! Viruses were largely unknown until after the Second World War. Not much is known about viruses even now. Believe it or not.
Society's number one expense, medicine, is in a crisis. Medical doctors and their partners in the pharmaceutical industry have come a cropper. They are unable to solve the riddles of cardiovascular disease, cancer or even the common cold. Despite unrelenting propaganda to the contrary, not every doctor can work miracles.
Doctors have resisted the idea that nutrition has anything to do with illness, despite Dr. Goldberger [1] having cured Pellagra with vegetables 94 years ago and British sailors being cured of Scurvy [2] with limes and other citrus fruit three hundred years ago. Yet a doctor's opinion is valued above all others, as always. Why? Doctors prescribed mercury pills for the Chin emperor [3] so he would enjoy immortality and doctors would have prescribed more hokum for the Pharaohs before that. Quackery is well established with the established.
Happily, a few doctors today have seen the light on nutrition and some important doctors [4] have endorsed Juice Plus+ [5] and the science that supports it. A word of caution though is that "science" also supports pharmaceutical nostrums such as Statins that doctors prescribe every day. Notwithstanding past errors, one day soon nutrition will be endorsed by "main-stream" medicine. A quiet revolution may be underway.

Do You Feel Lucky?
© MMIX v.1.1.7
Below, is a link to the essay I wrote and published yesterday entitled "Our Friend, Cholesterol". Although what happened to me is important to me, I understand when few others want to know about my story. They simply don't want to know about it. What happened to me challenges core beliefs. It just could not be true, they think. But it is true:
If you read on, thank you for your interest.
Simply put, I was tortured for 8 years; then I was in a coma and would have died but for Dr. Buwembo, the neurosurgeon; then I spent 10 years slowly recovering with sanctuary provided by my sister. Chronic transient pain stopped about a year ago and I started to make progress. I am pretty new: I am about one year old. I was saved from death at the hands of doctors by other doctors — twice. I didn't discover what was wrong with me until September 2001. I was saved for a reason. I have a mission, unlike established medicine, which is motivated by mere greed. The last eighteen years qualifies me to say what I have to say.
January 7, 2010 will be the eighteenth anniversary of the fateful day Zocor was first prescribed to lower my cholesterol by John N. Alport, M.D. Though the worst by far, the rhabdomyolysis that John Alport caused is only one of many unaddressed medical insults that I have endured here in Regina during the last fifty-eight years thanks to my so-called "family physicians". There have only been half a dozen of them over the years, but these "gatekeepers" to Saskatchewan medicare caused untold harm that no one in authority wants to hear about. They want to crow about our wonderful medical care.
If asked, I would definitely warn people about anything the pharmaceutical companies are pushing. I can unequivocally testify that your health and well-being are the least of their concerns. Making money is their greatest concern. I am living proof of what I say. Good nutrition, combined with exercise and spiritual nourishment, is the route to good health. The pharmaceutical companies and their products should be avoided. Their main contributions to medical science are two: Penicillin and Aspirin. Neither was discovered in a big "research lab" of a giant zillion-dollar pharmaceutical company. Though something might temporarily relieve your suffering, they have nothing to offer that will make you well.
The same can be said about medical doctors. A doctor might save your life, but he cannot make you well. There are some good doctors, but you don't know who they are. There are some bad doctors too, but you don't know who they are either. The Canadian medical establishment has succeeded in removing entirely any quality control from the medical system. That's quite an achievement. Any quality that exists is due to the diligence of individual physicians, not organized medicine — which protects bad doctors. Saskatchewan may have the worst medical system in Canada and Canada is bad. Your trip to the doctor is exactly like playing Russian Roulette. Do you feel lucky? Well, do you?
Good doctors should want to do something about this. Some have already started. A quiet revolution may be underway. I hope it is.

Dentists Are My Friends
© MMIX V.1.0.1
Dentists have played an important part of my life. Here's my story:
Since high school, I have had excellent dental care. The extensive restorative dentistry in my mouth was required because the dental care I had before that was poor. My dental condition has nothing to do with neglect. I went to the dentist and brushed my teeth every night as every good boy should. Apparently, dentistry improved in the sixties. It has continued to improve to this day. My four nephews, who don’t look after their teeth particularly well, have only one cavity between them. They have had excellent dental care.
My own dental care followed this pattern: a cavity would be diagnosed. A hole would be drilled in the tooth and an amalgam filling would be installed. A few years later more decay would be found around the filling. The old filling would be removed and the hole would be made larger to remove the new decay. A new filling would be installed. This would be repeated over the years until nothing was left of the tooth. Then, the remnants of the tooth would be extracted after the last filling fell out. A gap would be left.
That is why a molar is missing on each side of my lower jaw. They were removed by a dentist in Saskatoon when I was in Grade 11. As my wisdom teeth erupted, they pushed the molars forward and destroyed the occlusion of my teeth. This misalignment was compounded as the upper teeth dropped. (Years later that was corrected by Dr. Lloyd Cullham who had to grind off considerable enamel with an "equilibration". Dr. Natrass was shocked when he saw this a few years later, but I have been happy with the improvement in my bite for many decades.)
After high school, in the late sixties, I was in Vancouver when one of those large fillings fell out. It was a long weekend which I managed to survive by dissolving 292s on the crater in my tooth. I went to see a dentist when one was open. I wanted the dentist to extract the tooth and end my pain. I would have been happy then to have had all of my teeth extracted. My teeth were not my friends.
“We don’t do that anymore,” the dentist told me. He went on to explain a new philosophy in dentistry. “We try never to extract a tooth.” He told me I needed a root canal to save the tooth. He explained what that was. He said he would do the procedure for free because I had no money. He went on to say that he would put a temporary dressing in the tooth and that I would need to go to a dentist in Regina to have the work finished when I got home. He said I would need to have a bridge on both sides to fill in the gap that was left by the molar that had been extracted there.
My life was turned around by that dentist. I don’t even know his name. I have blessed him daily for forty years when I floss my teeth.
After returning to Regina, I got a job with a geologist and went to work up north. A dentist in Flin Flon finished the root canal and had a gold bridge for my lower left quadrant made at a lab in Winnipeg. When he dropped it in, he was delighted. He exclaimed, “I’m a genius.” It was perfect.
Back in Regina, Dr. Jack Kanee told me more about crowns, gold inlays and bridges. My lifetime goal was to have all my teeth capped and to have beautiful teeth for the rest of my life. Dr. Kanee made the gold bridge in the lower right quadrant after he checked the root canal there. I was very proud of my gold teeth!
Then I went to Japan. It was May 1970.
When I returned from Japan, Dr. Cullham did an occlusal adjustment and extracted a baby tooth and the adult tooth that had not come down. I lost the tooth beside them as well — a two-tooth gap was left. This created a problem that I am dealing with again now.
In 1971, Dr. Kanee made a porcelain bridge to span the two-tooth gap. That bridge now needs some attention — 38 years later. Dr. Kanee was my dentist, and my friend, until he retired. Dr. Kanee looked after my fillings, replacing the very old ones, and polishing the others. He put some Rembrandt veneers on some of my teeth. Some of them are still there. Veneers were a new thing new then. The veneer on the left front tooth would never stay on.
Dr. Kanee replaced it umpteen times before he retired. When I started seeing Dr. Bolen, the first thing he fixed was that veneer. He replaced it umpteen times over the years.
When Dr. Bolen retired, Dr. Allison Mang replaced that veneer umpteen times too. Then, she made the beautiful crown that is there now. It will last the rest of my life, at least another sixty years. Allison is my favorite, not only because she is young and pretty. Allison has a light touch. She doesn't hurt me even when injecting freezing. Allison can make teeth with the new composite dental resins that she cures with light.
Since that anonymous dentist in Vancouver turned my life around in 1968, dentists have played an important part in my life. When I lived in Vancouver, I rented a suite of rooms in the home of Dr. Annalies Penz, in British Properties. She was a retired dentist!
Dr. Bolen and Dr. Kinzel are my friends from Kiwanis. Olive White and Dr. Greg White are my friends from St. Matthew’s. Their son is Allison Mang’s husband's partner in a chiropractic practice. Olive White worked for Dr. Kanee and his brothers-in-law, Paul and Ben Bukhalter.
Dentists are supposed to be unhappy people who are prone to suicide, we are told by the folklore. I don't know who started that stupid idea. Dentists are my friends. They are happy, well-adjusted people. I have been very happy with every dentist since 1968 when dentistry changed for me. Dentists have helped me immeasurably. I expect to live a long time. I expect to have my teeth in my head where they belong when I die years from now. Some medical doctors I have known should have taken lessons from you.
Thank you, my friends!

Our Friend, Cholesterol
© MMIX V.1.0.6
One would think, after listening to the blather that is popular with doctors and the pharmaceutical sales armies, that cholesterol is a wicked poison that must be kept under control with Cholesterol Lowering Drugs (CLDs) like Zocor and Lipitor. But you should ignore them. The world-wide anti-cholesterol industry is a gigantic malicious hoax that earns billions of dollars annually for pharmaceutical giants like Merck and Pfizer.
In fact, CLDs are the most profitable pharmaceutical drugs in history.
Yet cholesterol is not a poison. Cholesterol is found in the cell wall of every cell in your body. Without cholesterol, cell walls break down and rhabdomyolysis results. The destruction of your musculoskeletal system (nerve, muscle and connective tissue) is extremely painful as I can personally attest. Pain has been the main complaint of patients receiving CLDs since Merck introduced Lovastatin and created the industry in 1987. But drug companies and doctors who prescribe CLDs don't care about your pain; they are interested in money. "No pain no gain," they say. Guess so.
Maybe doctors and pharmaceutical giants don't know about this. What do you think?
Here is a handy diagram that many seem to have missed at medical school. Maybe they were asleep. Maybe they weren't in doctor school to learn how to help people:

Gender Mystery
© MMIX V.1.1.2
I agree 100%. "Now, men and women have probably been a mystery to one another since the time human beings were in trees; one reason people developed so many rules around courtship was that they needed some way to bridge the Great Sexual Divide."
As I was entering Grade 6, and rock and roll was replacing the culture that had existed before WW2, the world seemed to have no rules to learn and follow, no conventions, maps or guideposts. We were free. We were free to wander around unassisted, that is.
It was hard to know what girls wanted. They seemed to want boys who treated them with distain. Girls loved the heroes on the athletic squads, of course. They were the heart-throbs that girls usually chose. After choosing someone who treated them with disdain, girls could be unhappy and they could share their trials with their friends. They could then be just like grownups. Fifty years later, girls and women go on Oprah.
Then along came Hugh Hefner and the Pill. Boys would be able to get everything boys are supposed to want when they are 13. Things have gone down hill since then: sterility, infertility, AIDS, homosexuality, very bizarre sex crimes that were once unimaginable, child molestation, pornography everywhere, hate, insanity. D.I.V.O.R.C.E. Doom.
The world we live in is a disaster. What can we do? Here's what I do:
I like women. I don't care anymore what everyone else is doing. I haven't cared about that for a long time. I ignore the trends and the opinions of the opinion makers. I love beautiful women. Love is its own reward. Love makes you feel good. Not only that, people tend to like people who like them. It works with women. It works with beautiful women. The secret is being satisfied with the feeling. Do not attach her smile to a laundry list of things you want from her and expect her to deliver. Be happy with her smile. Be thankful for the feeling. Live in the moment. Most people won't know what you are doing. They will be confused. But if you are patient and consistent, they will start to trust you. Never betray their trust. If your expectations are zero, you cannot be disappointed, you will always be delighted with what you get and you cannot be taken over and abused. You are in control because you are in control of yourself. You will be a straight-shooter in a crooked world. You will be unique, young man.
Love makes the world go round. Love makes the world we live in worth living in. It works for me. Give it a try. Reach out. The alternative is to live inside a little cell without windows or a door.

God is an Anarchist
© MMIX V.1.0.5
God is a jealous god, the Bible tells us. The First Commandment is "Thou shalt have no other gods before Me."
We are a long way from that today and we have been a long way from that for a long time.
Man's organizations are vastly more powerful than any individual. The state is the most powerful organization yet created and its leader and his office are invested by his subjects (and himself) with god-like characteristics.
I think that is the main theme of the Bible: Moses lead the Chosen People out of Egypt to free them from the bondage of the Pharaoh and his state — Egypt may be the first example of state-level civilization. The people were chosen to keep the faith, serve God and be an example for the Nations. The Chosen People never got it right — starting immediately with the Golden Calf incident. Moses marched them around in the desert for 40 years trying to get them to get the message. But they never got it, most of them, especially the leaders. After Moses died, they invaded Canaan. They created their own state-level civilization. God no longer spoke to their leaders. He spoke to the Prophets who spoke to their leaders. When the Chosen didn't listen to the Prophets, the Chosen were dragged off in chains. The wonderful kingdom they loved so much was destroyed. First the Assyrians, then the Babylonians, then the Persians, then the Romans were used (by God) to destroy the wonderful kingdom. But the committed kept returning to resurrect the wonderful kingdom they loved. Two thousand years (in round figures) after the last destruction (about 80 CE) new people have been trying to resurrect the wonderful kingdom. They say they are the Chosen. They call themselves Zionists. But they are atheists. They are materialists. They want to take over the world. They do not serve God. They serve someone else.
Who could that be?
Henry Makow asks, "Chosen by whom? Indeed."
Gentiles should be aware that although Zionists have won the civil war for Judaism, it is largely the public face of Judaism that they have won. That is the face Gentiles see whenever they tune in to the News, or read a newspaper or magazine, listen to a politician or go to a movie. Those are all controlled by Zionists as are all the official "Jewish" organizations — the ones with all the money and power. Hundreds of thousands of Jews oppose Zionism. Cutting the Gordian Knot
© MMIX V.1.0.6
I have spent a lifetime investigating things that others thought they knew everything about. I work independently. Alexander cut the Gordian Knot with one stroke. See my statement below:
Over 90% of WTC 1, WTC 2 and WTC 7 were not there after they "collapsed." Were did they go? Millions of TV viewers witnessed this extraordinary event as it happened. Three huge buildings simply wafted away on the breezes to settle as dust all over lower Manhattan and its waterways. Viewers watched something that had never before happened, anywhere, in the history of the world. "9/11" was a very special demolition. "9/11" was truly extraordinary.
The official explanations of the officials are so ridiculous they don't deserve to be considered for a second. Instead, these fables reveal everything anyone needs to know about the officials themselves. "9/11," itself, tells us who was responsible for this monstrosity. Instead of providing a foundation to justify everything our officials have done since "9/11" (which they expect to be able to do), this single fact — the buildings were turned into dust — casts mortal doubt on the officials and their actions before and after the event. "9/11" could not have been done by anyone but the officials themselves and the organizations they control (whose business is munitions and war) as everyone intuitively already knows. Yet, unequivocal statements can sometimes be mitigated.
"9/11" could have been done by space aliens, of course, but not by Pashtun tribesmen in Afghanistan or the imaginary "Al Qaeda". The only terrestrial people who might be capable of doing the job, apart from a few in the upper echelons of the United States, are the Russians. Why aren't we bombing them? Of course! The Russians have all those thermonuclear tipped missiles pointed at U.S. And, like the Chinese, the Russians are our friends these days. Do we really have any friends? How friendly are we?
The officials in Washington are very stupid and they are playing a very dangerous game with everyones' lives. They need to be dishonorably discharged at the very least. Some officials require psychiatric incarceration. Some people would have other officials swinging from the lamp posts.

Dishonorably Discharged
© MMIX V.1.0.0
The other night the tele-screen reported the tragic story of a young American who has deserted. Desertion is the worst crime an American can commit. Once you have signed up, you are committed. You must obey orders, whatever-the-Hell they might be. You cannot run away and hide. They will hunt you down and drag you back by the scruff of your neck. You will be disgraced and branded a traitor. After your prison term has been served, no employer will hire you with a "dishonorable discharge." You will join the dead men walking. Your life will be over.
Imagine, I considered joining the U.S. Army to go to Vietnam in 1975 when the Commies were overrunning our noble allies there. I was going to save the world. Canadians are not too smart. I, for one, was pretty dumb.
Browsing my Wish List at Amazon.com, the book review below caught my fancy. How can America's overlords do what they do while some dogface is kicked around like a, well, like a dog?

The Hell with U.S. Citizens and Trust Only Those Can Pay and Can Do Business, February 19, 2007
By James E. Egolf "James E. Egolf, MA" (Florida) - See all my reviews
Those who read Anthony Sutton's WALL [STEET] AND THE BOLSHEVIK REVOLUTION should read THE BEST ENEMY MONEY CAN BUY in tandam. The latter book simply follows events during and especially after World War II and the Cold War. Sutton has amassed a collection of anecdotes and comments which, if [they weren't] so sad and deadly, would be funny.
Part of THE BEST ENEMY MONEY CAN BUY deals with government officials either [deflecting] or ending investigations of U.S. business executives who did business and made lucrative deals with "The Evil Empire." Many U.S. presidents preached about the purity of their anti-Communism while at the same time arranging for business leaders to make huge sums of money doing business with both the Soviets and Chinese Communists.
Some of the projects that U.S. and Western European businessmen included innocent sounding projects such as the Kharkov Tractor Factory which was built in 1932. This became a military production factory. Another example of U.S. government and business executives occured just before the Soviets Afghanistan [invasion] in 1980. The Soviets purchased huge grain supplies knowing that window dressing would preclude further grain sales.
Sutton also cites the Kama Truck Factory which was computerized by Texas Instruments, powered by General Electric, and financed by U.S. bankers. All of this done via the U.S. taxpayers. One must raise the question of who pays for all of this.
For all of his tough talk about the wicked Communists, Pres. Reagan continued the late Pres. Nixon's policy of money and technology transfers to the Chinese Communists. One amusing aspect of the Cold War was the fact that U.S. authroities went after any and all dissenters who complained about the status-quo. The political response to any complaints or problems in the U.S. was due to "The Gremlins in the Kremlin." Yet, the same businessmen, Congressmen, self appointed professional anti-Communists, etc. were the same ones who voted for or arranged so much finance and technology to both the Soviets and Chinese. The official anti-Communists did more to prolong Big Communism than any U.S. dissenter or U.S. self avowed Communist.
What is interesting is the official political do gooders condemned U.S. labor leaders as being Communist. Yet, these same labor leaders were virtually the only ones who raised protest against the harsh working and living conditions of Soviet workers which Sutton makes clear on page 208. The hypocrisy is so apparent.
Those who say [that] a picture is worth a thousand words would appreciate this book. The political cartoons reveal a lot about the lack of loyalty on part of "conservative" business leaders who have been in the vanguard of domestic anti-Communism.
Anthony Sutton is clear that U.S. technology and financial transfers to Big Communism was responsible for the deaths of U.S. Servicemen in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. U.S. citizens should be outraged that their government and official leaders were responsible for all this.
Mr. Luce, the well known journalist, was asked about U.S. Communists. Mr. Luce responded that American blue collar workers were Democrats. The American middle classes were Republicans. The plutocratic wealthy were Communists. Sutton's book makes this assessment clear.

Lying Liars and their Lies
© MMIX V.1.0.2
A lie is like a beautiful sweater, with at least one loose yarn.
A sweater can be a splendid garment. It can be knitted from brightly coloured yarn. It can be knitted from plain yarn into intricate patterns like an Irish fisherman's sweater. A sweater can be a lovely fashion statement.
Like a sweater, a lie can be very attractive. A lie can be fashionable too. People often want to believe a lie more than they want to believe the truth. The truth may be ugly.
But lies can be unravelled whatever anyone wants to believe. Every lie has a loose thread. When that is pulled, the lie starts to unravel. Soon nothing is left but the liar's naked chest and belly.
The events known as "9/11" are a good example. The official story has only one thing going for it, it is the official story of the officials. Nothing the officials claim happened could have happened. They are scientifically impossible. Almost anything else is possible, but not the official story. Is it possible that the officials do not know this? Impossible.
Once one lie is unraveled, everything else the liar has said becomes suspect. When a pattern of lying is uncovered, the burden of proof shifts to the liar who is no longer presumed innocent until proven guilty. The liar becomes classified as a congenital liar — one who has been a liar from birth, perhaps whose genes predispose him or her to lying.
As comedian George Burns once quipped, "Sincerity is everything. Once you can fake that, you've got it made." Successful politicians fake sincerity well.
A lie is like a beautiful sweater, with at least one loose yarn.

WILK vs the AMA
© MMIX V.1.0.7
The other day, I learned that the American Medical Association was successfully sued for engaging in a criminal conspiracy to destroy chiropractic medicine. This was a landmark decision reminding us of Lord Acton's dictum about power.
"On September 25, 1987, Getzendanner issued her opinion that the AMA had violated Section 1, but not 2, of the Sherman Act, and that it had engaged in an unlawful conspiracy in restraint of trade "to contain and eliminate the chiropractic profession." (Wilk v. American Medical Ass'n, 671 F. Supp. 1465, N.D. Ill. 1987). She issued a permanent injunction against the AMA under Section 16 of the Clayton Act to prevent such future behavior."
Corrupt established medicine (yes, it is very corrupt, especially in Canada) might not in this life be reformed or punished for its misdeeds: But it will come to an end when it is abandoned by patients and by medical doctors themselves as they choose a different path. A quiet revolution currently is under way. Conventional medicine today is a failure with costs rising and health declining. Recognizing the problem, millions have for years been looking for an alternative. They have been looking to naturopathic doctors, health food stores, chiropractors, physiotherapists, osteopaths, homeopathy, acupuncturists, massage therapists and more because their doctor and the drug store could not solve their problem. Sometimes their problem got worse and new problems appeared. Despite its best efforts to control everything — reinforced with government sanction, established medicine does not have a monopoly on health. Doctors are the third leading cause of death, after heart disease and cancer (JAMA). Heart disease and cancer are diseases for which they have no cure, despite the billions that have been spent for a century which have provided comfortable incomes for the comfortable. Established medicine has no reason to be proud. Established medicine has come a cropper.
Medical care is hardy any better, in some cases, than it was in the days of "patent medicine". But modern medicine costs much much more and it can create problems that were unknown before so it actually might be worse.

Letter to CBC: The media continues to condition Canadians to accept the on-going criminal wars in the Middle East. This has been going on in Palestine for 130 years. Iraq and Afghanistan were invaded after 9/11 — ignoring the fact that neither country had anything to do with it. Since then, hundreds of thousands have been driven from their homes. Multitudes of innocent people have been killed. Iraq was turned into a slaughterhouse and has been destroyed. Our heroes in Afghanistan are celebrated every night as the carnage there continues. Pakistan is in chaos. Iran awaits being bombed into the stone age. Your propaganda supports these crimes. WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING? These people have never done even one thing to us. You should be ashamed.

The Manchurian Candidate (1962)
© MMIX V.1.0.3
Last night, I watched, for the umpteenth time, The Manchurian Candidate (1962) with Lawrence Harvey, Frank Sinatra and Angela Lansbury. I never get tired of it. I always look forward to seeing Lawrence Harvey dispatch his tormentors, especially "that idiot" his step-father Senator Johnny What's-His-Name. The opening scenes are dark and confused, just like things really were in 1950, only a few years after The Great Victory of '45. The Manchurian Candidate (1962) is so very different from all those great WW II movies, then and now. We were the good guys. We knew who were the bad guys. We had on our side Van Johnson, Bing and Bob, the Andrews Sisters, James Stewart, James Cagney and Gary Cooper. Let's not forget "Duke" Wayne. Winston and FDR were our leaders. Chiang Kai-shek and Stalin were our friends. We nobly fought evil — and won! The world was so different then. Or maybe we only thought things were different and made sense before 1950.
Perhaps things didn't make sense then. Perhaps what we were told and what we believed was a lie. Perhaps we keep telling ourselves these lies over-and-over so we won't ever have to examine them. I found very disturbing Mr. Nowiki's "We Are All Basterds Now". Maybe we have been basterds [sic] all along, but we were afraid to look in the mirror. That is frightening.
Maybe we are, all of us, like Lawrence Harvey and Frank Sinatra. Maybe we have all been programmed — not so much by their leaders but by our own leaders — to do evil. What do you think we are doing today?

A Personal Best
© MMIX V.1.0.8
In June 2000, I was in a coma. That was the lowest point in my life. I have been slowly improving since then. It took two years before I could do much of anything but sit in a La-Z-Boy chair all day long. That's where I had spent most of my days for eight years before that. A year ago, I no longer suffered from transient chronic pain in my muscles and joints. Then, I added lifting dumb bells to the stretching program I had been doing three times a week for years. I started with 10 pound dumb bells, one set, 10 reps. I did bench press, flies, biceps, triceps and rows.
For the last six months, at Gold's Gym, my personal trainer has worked with me every Wednesday for an hour. Her name is Kristen. She is a 20- year-old power lifter! She is on the Canadian team. Usually she has me doing things I wouldn't otherwise do: balance exercises, squats, walking. We are retraining my brain. I like to do upper body weights. Today, I bench pressed 40 pound dumb bells six times! Here's what I did today: 5 minute walk from 2.3 to 2.6; stretches (my standard routine); bench press (1 set of 15 reps with 25 pounds, 1 set of 15 reps with 30 pounds, 1 set of 15 reps with 35 pounds, 1 set of 6 reps with 40 pounds) A PERSONAL BEST!!; one arm rows (3 sets 15 reps 30 pounds); flies (3 sets of 15 reps - 20 pounds); triceps pull downs (3 sets of 15 reps 40 pounds); biceps curl 1 set of 15 reps with 15 pounds; shower when I got home. I did no lower body exercises, but I pressed 40 pound dumb bells 6 times after warming up with smaller weights for a total of 51 reps. I controlled the 40 pounders very well.
If I sometimes seem "over-the-top" happy, it is because I was once severely crippled. I was much older than a centenarian. All I could do all day was sit in a chair. I slept fitfully with night sweats. My hands were frozen painful claws. I was in extreme pain 24 hours a day — for years. Everything hurt. I was a mass of throbbing aching pain. My feet felt as if they were on fire. They felt as if they were burning coals. Then, I was dead. Now, I am young again. Best of all, pretty girls smile at me! I am like the Bible's Job. Not only am I young again, I am healthier than I was when I was young. Pretty girls didn't smile at me then but they do now. Maybe I am dead and I am in heaven.
I am very thankful. Of course this isn't heaven. Some of Regina's leading citizens, and one in Wakaw, are responsible for the good done to me and some of Regina's leading citizens are responsible for the evil that was done to me. None are responsible for the pretty girls or for my deliverance.
And some people say there is no God.

Backing Up Your Computer
© MMIX V.1.0.3
Is your computer backed up? Here's what I do. I have not lost even one file in 30 years of computing. I have always used Apple computers. I have been using Macintosh computers since 1985. Today, I have a 24" iMac with 2.66 GHz Intel Core2 Dual processor and a 4 GB memory.
The mainstay of my back up system today is Carbon Copy Cloner©. You can get yours here: http://www.bombich.com/software/ccc.html
Carbon Copy Cloner© is donation ware. You can use it for free but you are urged to donate if you find it useful.
Carbon Copy Cloner© (CCC) will Save Your Bacon. Please donate.
CCC will make a complete, identical, clone of your hard drive that will be bootable. Set it up and forget it. Mine makes an incremental clone every night while I sleep. It takes about 20 minutes to incrementally back up over two million files on my hard drive (everything: preferences, settings, documents, applications). I have used it many times to replace my entire drive which has occasionally been neccessary. It is perfect. I can't recommend Mike Bombich and his elves highly enough. They helped me!
CCC took an hour to back up 23 GB the night after I installed Snow Leopard. Upgrading from Leopard changed many files!
I use both Time Machine® and Carbon Copy Cloner©. Each resides on its own LaCie external hard drive. Each is essential. They do different things in different ways. I also use iDisk to back up documents onto The Cloud: in case my office is wiped out, my documents will survive on a remote server, somewhere. I'll be able to find them if I survive.
I have another external LaCie drive for TechTool's eDrive which keeps everything running in tiptop condition.
I am backed up. Are you?

America VS the United States

RE: The 'Good War' — Raimondo
The Editor,
Although I agree with most things on AntiWar.com, I must disagree with this:
The "Good War," in short, was the launching pad for the American Imperium, and ever since we’ve been marauding all over the world, likening our foes to Hitler, and building up a mighty apparatus of mass murder answerable to no one and nothing – certainly not to the American people.
If criticizing "The Good War" (WW II) is unwise, then criticizing the idea that the United States only recently turned bad is impossibly risky. But I want you to consider that the United States did not turn bad only recently, anyway. Peel the onion. Go back. Go all the way back. You will find the folks in Washington have always been doing what George W. Bush did and what Obama is still doing. That includes all the Presidents, even Jimmy Carter, who actually became good only after he left office. Even the Gipper was bad and I liked him (read Chomsky). Even Kennedy was bad and I liked him too (read Chomsky). Lyndon Johnson was bad, but he wasn't unusual. How about Truman? And FDR? And Wilson? And TR? And McKinley? And Lincoln? And Polk? And Andrew Jackson? You can go all the way back to George Washington and the Whiskey Rebellion and even look closely at what the Thirteen Colonies were doing before 1776. How did they treat the Indians? Abominably. Everyone knows about black slaves. Were there any white slaves? Yes, there were! Who was Napoleon's only ally? Why, it was the United States whose very first overseas mission was to crush the slave rebellion in Haiti and establish a naval base in Guantanamo. The base is still there! The United States Congress declared war on the Barbary Pirates. Why? So it could justify raising the money necessary to build a navy. The arguments then would be familiar to anyone today: they were righting wrongs, defending women and children etc., etc.
Americans have always been conned (not merely Indians, blacks and Mexicans, but most whites too): They have been unwitting dupes who thought they were spreading wholesome values, civilization, freedom, democracy, and human rights while they have actually been enhancing power in Washington. Take a close look at the history of Texas. Look at Mexico. Even Canada has been invaded several times. Review the history of Guatemala (United Fruit Company bananas) and Hawaii (Dole pineapple). Let's not forget the Philippines. Democracy, human rights and U.S. business, which is labelled "free enterprise", have always been spread at gun point. Americans have always been fascinated with munitions and history's bloodiest epoch, the 20th Century, was the American Century, actually, it was the U.S. Century.
One of the fundamental errors upon which the United States is founded is this: "Peace Through Strength." It is a formula for exactly what we have had, what we have now and where we are headed. The United States has always been an empire. The United States has always aspired to be an empire. The United States has always been driven to be the only empire. The United States government has always worked closely with the military and Big Business — the pattern for both Mussolini and Lenin was established by the United States, which the Ayatollah Khomeini called 'The Great Satin'! Of course we don't care what he said. He was just another Hitler. Khomeini took Iranian oil out of our hands!
"Don't bother us now, you peacenik, we're getting ready to bomb Iran into the stone age so we can save the world from terrorists."

NOTE:
This is what P.M. Steven Harper and his idiot Conservatives have committed Canada to support. Perhaps this is the traditional role of Conservatives in Canada: When it became clear to Paul Martin that Harper and his Tories were going to defeat Martin and the Liberals, Martin castigated Harper for selling out to Washington. It was the Liberals who have kept the Americans out of Canada and who have always been dedicated to Canadian independence, Martin whined. I have always been a Conservative supporter. I guess I was wrong. I won't vote Conservative again. I may never vote again. Duh-MOCK-ricy?

The official explanation has only one thing going for it: it is the official explanation of the officials. Otherwise, it has nothing going for it. It is a pack of lies. Something else happened.
Consider these points (that means think about them):
• the same organizations did "9/11" that assassinated JFK: elements inside the U.S. military, inside U.S. intelligence, and inside the U.S. government, particularly inside the White House
• the Israelis helped. The Israelis are always helpful. Some of them think they run the Empire because their lobby, AIPAC, owns America's elected officials, with but few exceptions
• there were no Arabs
• no planes crashed into buildings in New York City and Washington, DC
• United Airlines Flight 93 did not crash in a field in Pennsylvania.
• all four planes were hijacked electronically and flown out over the Atlantic where they were detonated
• some explosives were used to enhance "special effects" for the TV shows which millions watched over and over and over
• people running for their lives may have been there, but they would have been too busy to be reliable witnesses of what was going on. They were running for their lives. They were pumped full of panic adrenalin
• eye-witnesses could not see the big picture. TV viewers saw what they were supposed to see and were told what to think
• various "man in the street" video footage was set up for the special effects department to doctor and feed to the TV networks
• Ted Olson, the U.S. Solicitor General, did not talk on a cell phone to his wife, Barbara, before she met her doom at the Pentagon
• the "plane crash" at the Pentagon was a shaped charge placed against the wall of the building (inside). Assorted airplane parts in the "crash area" inside the building were planted there before the incident. None of them match the plane that supposedly was involved
• the lawn outside the Pentagon was as perfect as a putting green — after the "crash", then it was covered with sand and fire-fighting equipment
• symbolically, a giant U.S. flag was hung over the collapsed area of the Pentagon to demonstrate patriotism and to conceal from TV audiences what had happened — but early photographs were already on the Internet for all to see
• no plane could get through the tiny hole in the Pentagon wall. A missile was unnecessary when a bomb would do the job
• private video surveillance footage showing the Pentagon was confiscated by intelligence agents and never seen again
• the Pentagon area that was "attacked" was vacant and being renovated. There was lots of time to set things up without being disturbed
• three pineapple-sized 4th generation tritium bombs with vertical foci were set up in the basements to vaporize WTC 1, 2 and 7 — more than 85% of these huge buildings simply floated off on the breezes to settle all over Lower Manhattan
• photographs and videos confirm that a very powerful focused explosive event destroyed WTC 1 and another destroyed WTC 2
• WTC 7, which had been especially reinforced during construction, collapsed identically to WTC 1 and 2 as it was vaporized —most of WTC 7 vanished with its collapse too
• seismic recorders confirm earth-shaking disturbances in the area at the time
• pools of molten steel were discovered in the sub-basements of the WTC buildings weeks after 9/11
• the WTC buildings were stuffed with asbestos which had to be removed by public health order
• Larry Silverstein, the new owner of the WTC (which had been "privatized" and taken out of the hands of the Port Authority), saved the cost of renovation or demolition and removal of his WTC buildings while collecting a huge insurance payoff
• George W. Bush's brother, Marvin, was in charge of WTC security before 9/11 — "security officers" had access to everything
• most of the WTC workers weren't working that day, Tuesday 11 September 2001 although it was a regular business day
• the WTC crime scene was destroyed before it could be examined. The evidence was shipped off to places in India and Africa where it was melted down as scrap metal
• the Pentagon crime scene was destroyed by the direct order of Donald Rumsfeld, Secretary of Defense. The fire there burned for days and days. Why, as fires go, it wasn't a very big fire?
• very large numbers of WTC first responders are dying or have already died of lung cancer caused by radiation
• the masterminds behind "9/11" were George W. Bush, Donald Rumsfeld and Dick Cheney who are recommended to us as the prime suspects by their other crimes and by the indubitable fact that they are the only ones who could have done what was done. There are no other suspects — certainly not "the usual suspects"
• the motive was to keep the U.S. Empire in business: A new enemy had to be found to replace the Soviet Union. The Russians were not going to play this stupid game any longer — they had run outta money
• War has always been "The Health of the State." Governments love war, especially the U.S. government
• Pearl Harbor worked so well the last time. It kept everything going for over 60 years.
Bin Laden died years ago. The CIA stopped looking for him years ago. There is no "Al Qaeda". The shadow war that George W. Bush told us would be waged forever was made up by the buffoons in Washington for the bozos on Main Street.
These people pose a real and present danger to everyone world-wide. The only way to get rid of them is to stop giving them money. The world-wide financial meltdown and globalization are looking after that for us — I hope. Washington, like the Soviet Union, has run outta money. I'm going to bed. Good night.
